A aimé Lovely campsite just the right size not too over crowded. Staff polite and friendly. Will visit again :)
Please note I only marked slightly down on cleanliness due to the spiders in toilets which I no is to be completely expected. We will be booking up and visiting again.

While we're pleased you enjoyed our clean, organized site, we're sorry the washing facilities didn't meet your expectations. We do strictly follow AA recommendations to ensure we have the correct number of showers for our pitches, and we also offer two standalone overflow shower/toilet units at the rear of the main block. We will certainly keep your comments in mind as we look for ways to improve.

However, we are incredibly sorry to hear about the behaviour of some of the other guests and their pets during your visit. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, respectful, and family-friendly environment, and it is always disappointing when a few individuals do not show consideration for others or respect our park rules (which include keeping dogs on leads at all times).

We do rely heavily on our guests reporting issues to us as they happen so that we can address them immediately. For peace of mind, we have a 24-hour warden on duty who is always on hand to deal with these exact situations—such as messy facilities or disruptive pets—even outside of our standard office hours.

Had we been made aware of these issues during your stay, our warden would have gladly stepped in to resolve them straight away.

We hope this experience won't deter you from visiting us again, and we would love to welcome you back for a much more seamless and relaxing stay in the future.

A aimé Clean toilet and shower facilities. Nice playground and a great play area for kids. Easy to access, with good-sized pitches. The park was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed an evening walk around the town, which was really nice, calm, and peaceful. The location is great for exploring the local area. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

N'a pas aimé Too close to the motorhome parking , we had more neighbours than at home! 😂.

There was a large all male group camping (around 10+ people) and another large group that looked like a family gathering (around 20+ people). We had no interaction with either group, and there were no problems. As a family, we would have preferred a quieter, more family-friendly atmosphere.

We had to smile at your comment about having more neighbours than at home! 😂 Because we are a popular spot, our pitches can certainly fill up, especially during peak times when everyone is eager to get away.

We also really appreciate your feedback regarding the larger groups. While we are glad to hear that they were well-behaved and caused no issues, we completely understand that as a family, you naturally prefer a quieter, more relaxed environment. We always do our best to monitor the park's atmosphere to ensure it remains a welcoming, family-friendly space for everyone.

N'a pas aimé Other campers leaving the showers in a mess and dirty, no need, also one set of campers didn’t have their dog on a lead so it headed to our pitch trying to get food off our tables and it also went for another dog, dogs barking in the morning

We take our park rules regarding cleanliness and pet safety very seriously. We completely agree that there is no excuse for leaving shared shower facilities in a mess, and our team works hard to maintain them.

Regarding the disruptive dog, please be assured that we do not tolerate irresponsible pet ownership. Following the incidents you mentioned, the guest with the dog was removed from the park the very next morning, and they will no longer be welcome back to our site.

We want all of our guests to have a peaceful and safe experience, and we hope to welcome you back in the future for a much more relaxing stay.

A aimé Easy to find. Clean. Good sized pitch. nothing was too far. Nicely spaced out between the different accommodations. Just outside of Coldstream with plenty shops & 25 mins from Berwick. Loved the ice cream van turning up. Just what we needed with the heat

N'a pas aimé People not following the rules with dogs off lead. 1 was a nightmare constantly barking at everything passing & getting shouted at (Bailey!) & approaching other dogs when passing. There was another off lead too both from the touring caravans

Could do with a better mop as tried to get some of the water up in the shower as no extra drains but wasn’t spinning so would have made it worse if I’d tried

We also really appreciate your feedback about the shower mops, and we will look into upgrading them to make sure they work properly for guests who kindly try to help clean up after themselves.

Regarding your experience with the dogs off-lead, we take our park rules very seriously to ensure everyone has a safe and relaxing stay. Please be assured that the guest concerned (with "Bailey") was removed from the park during their stay due to numerous complaints from other visitors. We do not tolerate irresponsible pet ownership or noise disturbance, and this individual is no longer welcome back to our site.
