Wooda Farm Holiday Park

A aimé Excellent site, well laid out and in a great spot. The facilities are first class. We stayed one night in our campervan and, without doubt, this is the best site we have ever stayed on. The food and entertainment available at the site were also excellent and overall we were very impressed with everything this site has to offer.

Wooda Farm Holiday Park

A aimé Reasonably level pitches, site neat and well maintained. Hedges were planted in such a way as to offer privacy and shelter to each pitch. Wooden picnic benches provided on most pitches, which was a nice touch.

The facilities are fitted to a high standard, and kept as spotless as possible for facilities that are used by so many people. I liked that, unlike most sites, they didn't close the toilet/shower blocks for cleaning until the afternoon; most of us are morning people after all!

The takeaway and pub served a simple menu, but the food was excellent; reasonably sized portions, cooked in-house, using a lot of locally sourced produce, served, in eco-friendly recycled/compostable packaging. Makes a refreshing change from having my food served on roofing slates or chopping boards - and no unsolicited/inappropriate salads either, which I appreciate!

There were queues, but everything was so well organised, nobody was kept waiting too long.

Staff were hardworking, friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent.

Location is smashing, within view of the sea (albeit limited). Bude is just a few minutes away by car, but there's also a bus stop within easy walking distance.

N'a pas aimé It hardly counts as a 'dislike', but we would have preferred a fully serviced pitch; there were none available at the time of booking. It didn't spoil our stay though.

A aimé Big site, walking distance to Bude. We had a late check in and found our site with help from a fellow traveller. Good facilities. Left early next day.

A aimé Clean pitches, well thought out site and catered for all types of visitors. The facilities were brilliant especially the toilet and shower blocks which were modern and meticulously clean. Price was reasonable too and staff all friendly.

N'a pas aimé Check out time could be slightly later. Wi-Fi could be a little better.
