A aimé Everything. The pod was amazing, immaculate and had everything we needed. The best we have ever stayed in. We absolutely loved the site. We could see the kids at all times, they loved the animals and play area. The views were incredible! We will most definitely be back. Farmer Kevs tour was informative and fun and when my partner lost his phone on the fell, Farmer Kev spent hours of his time looking for it! He found it and we are so grateful. Couldn’t ask for better hosts.

A aimé What a fantastic hidden gem of a site this is. My husband and the kids stopped here one night (in a camper van) earlier in the year and insisted we came back for a longer visit to the area/site. This visit we were in one of the fabulous glamping pods. These are quite easily the best pods I have ever stayed in. Its so spacious! I loved the bunk beds in the back corner, in effect giving a separate room for the kids within the pod, I have never seen a layout like this before and its excellent. The bathroom is a great addition also, the shower was spacious, hot, and with good pressure. The kitchenette was well appointed and I particularly liked the full size under counter fridge. The pod also had a sofa and a table which could pull out for dinner if the weather was bad or there is a table and chairs on the decking. I also particularly liked that the decking has a gate so the dogs could be left out on the decking without any worry about them bothering the chickens on the grass. The paddock itself is lovely, spacious, lots of room for games and with swings/climbing frame, a goal and footballs. The farmer is a delight, my daughter loved her tour of the animals and is obsessed with the goats! The emu's are entertaining to watch potter about too. The site is well placed for exploring the local area with beaches, walks, the laal ratty, Whitehaven and muncaster all within a short drive. 10/10 and very much recommended, we will certainly be back again.

A aimé The pod was amazing—one of the best we’ve ever stayed in, and it had everything we could possibly need. The grounds were beautiful, the animals were lovely, and the playground was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed exploring the local area, and everyone both on site and locally was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for having us; we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

A aimé Very friendly owners who met us on arrival and directed us to the pitch with was perfect with water and EHU. wonderful surprise to see we were near a small friendly goat paddock as well as chickens and two beautiful emu's. Surrounding fields of gorgeous sheep. Lovely walks direct from the farm. Fantastic toilet block with an honesty shop. It is a narrow and steep road up but I navigated it fine in a small camper. Very peaceful relaxing location.

A aimé Our stay at the glamping pod was excellent, offering a thoughtful balance of comfort and outdoor experiences. The pod was modern, clean, and well‑designed, with bunk beds that provided practical and fun sleeping arrangements for children.

The site features a well‑maintained play area, which is ideal for families and adds real value to the overall experience. The presence of animals on site was another standout feature, creating a welcoming and engaging environment for younger guests.

Evenings around the fire pit were particularly enjoyable, providing a cosy and atmospheric space to unwind.

Overall, this is a high‑quality glamping site with strong family‑friendly facilities and excellent attention to detail.

A aimé Small, quiet site, gravel and grass pitch was a good size. We didn’t have children with us but there is a fabulous children’s playground. On a working farm, friendly goats. We used our own toilet/shower so cannot comment on facilities. We were just passing through the area, perfectly adequate for our needs.

A aimé Very friendly, helpful hosts. A working farm with goats, emus, sheep and chickens boarders g the pitches. Tidy campsite with children’s play area.

A aimé Everything! The pod was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and the little extras like toiletries and tea/coffee and seasonings in the kitchen were thoughtful /helpful touches.
Kids loved the freedom to roam and the set up of the play park/animal pens in sight of the pod gave peace of mind. Small site which meant it was peaceful and the views were lovely. Near lots of lovely places to visit
