Brakehill Lodge Farm

A aimé : I had a lovely 1 night stay at the weekend. The site is set in beautiful surroundings with lovely gardens. The facilities are very good including a barn area where you can use kettles and toasters etc.. or just sit and read. I took my own tent but you can also stay in bell tents or a shepherd's hut. Highlight of my stay was the delicious pizza cooked and served in the garden by the owners of the site. The family looked after me so well in what is basically their home and even their dog gave me a warm welcome. There are walks from the site to burn off the pizza and I even left with some plants for a small donation to charity. The site can be used for weddings and parties and the facilities for this are excellent including a bar and silo games room. Perfect place to stay! I will definitely be booking another visit soon.

A aimé : Beautiful site with wonderful hosts. I stayed with my wife and two children (11 and 8). On this first night we opted for some wood fired pizzas which was a great way to end a long car journey. There are some nice animals on site, ducks, chickens, horses, and in the neighbouring fields some deer and hares.

A aimé : Shepherd's Hut, eco-friendly campsite, clean kitchen, toilets and shower (hot water), games room, animals roaming the site (ducks and horses), very friendly, welcoming owners (thank you Claire and Alex) and plants for sale : )

A aimé : Amazing site with such unique rustic feel the most beautiful settings with the wooded high trees and most beautiful flowers everywhere.we stayed here for wedding anniversary and couldn't of stayed in a better place.The hosts are so friendly and helpful.We stayed here in our own tent in this lovely glamping site which as a beautiful shepards hut and huge glamping tents with everything you need including fire pits and barbecues to offer not forgetting you can have traditional pizza done on their pizza oven with salad at a small charge.Theres a huge barn we all you need which includes a shared microwave fridge and freezer and huge seating areas inside the barn area and loads of unique seating areas outside.Theres a very lovely one off games room too. Theres lovely hot showers and toilet facilities .The whole site is just beautiful we just loved the quietness and the beautiful stars and sunset was amazing. The area is near local supermarkets and the larger tesco and Lidl if needed to stock up.Theres plenty to do around including thetford forest.The fire pits are a must we hired you get a huge basket of logs and just watched the sunset it was amazing we stayed 2 nights and just was not long enough. We are looking forward to our next visit.

A aimé : The best place to get “off” from the world and recharge. This place offers calmness and tranquility that is best for everyone working in the city who is looking for place to relax and allow the children to run around in the greenery. We love the sound of wind when it touches the branches of tall trees and the same will wake you up in the morning. The facility is limited to few tents which gives you a good distance and not being distracted by other campers. The old barn which serves as dining and bar area have rustic designs that really suits the place. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

A aimé : Bell tent was very nice with complete equipments. Rustic themed facilities. Clean and well-maintained facilities. Beautiful garden. Picnic table. Hammock near our tent. Very nice friendly owners.

A aimé : One word to describe the loactaion, host and facilities. EXCEPTIONAL. Far better than any other glamping experience, and we have tried a number. Looking forwards to going again.
