A aimé : Inside was spacious enough for us both and two kids (8&10) to sleep. Interior, kitchen and bathroom done to a really high standard. Excellent value for money.

A aimé : Nothing, but could be nice in the summer.

N'a pas aimé: So I felt liked we were forgotten about on the day of arrival. Field was flooded after bad weather and was not told before hand to explore with kids, grass wasn't cut so we had wet feet everytime we walked to kitchen and toliet. Tent had cobwebs and dead insects, Outside kitchen had mould growing on items to cook with. We were given logs which were damp so some didn't burn so couldn't keep warm as we were freezing cold. We emailed to complain and said we wouldn't leave a bad review but because I had no reply back to me as a customer I felt I had to leave one. Not ideal to go after summer. We booked for 2 nights and we left after 1 night.

A aimé : The site is fantastic and has really good facilities. The kitchen in an outdoor shed was well equipped and had everything we needed to make pretty much anything we needed! Clean shower and toilet with 10/10 hot water. The owners are friendly and really helpful. They provided us with enough wood, kindling and logs for each night and topped it up when we needed as well. The site itself is quiet and peaceful. Bell tent is huge and there is ample space inside. The wood burner is a particular highlight - was really cosy and warm at night. We're definitely coming back

A aimé : The bell tent and facilities were very clean and all the facilities were well thought out. We were provided with coals for the bbq, cups, tea/coffee, bedding, towels etc. Everything was very well organised which made the stay very enjoyable. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and left you to enjoy your time on the farm. Would definitely recommend.

A aimé : There is so much to love about Boyce Fen Farm Retreat. It is set on a working farm so waking up every morning to the gentle sounds of bird song and cows mooing was wonderful. The owners, Chris and Alix were so welcoming and friendly, it was lovely to meet them. My family and I stayed in a bell tent which we absolutely loved. It is comfy and gorgeous and we loved settling down for the night with the log burner warming us all. The little kitchen outside has everything you could need, including tea, coffee and a jar of fresh milk in the fridge which was delicious. My mother in law and her partner stayed in a shepherd’s hut which was perfect for them as they are in their eighties. It was beautiful and had a toilet, shower and underfloor heating to keep them comfortable. They absolutely loved their stay there. There were lots of thoughtful touches - from the wood provided for the log burner, to firelighters and charcoal for the firepit/Bbq. We had amazing evenings sitting by the fire and gazing at the many stars. We loved our stay and plan to return next year.
