Ce camping offre une expérience paisible et rustique, au bord d'une magnifique rivière. Les visiteurs apprécient le calme, les vues superbes et l'accès idéal à la Nene pour la baignade et les sports nautiques. Le personnel, surtout Kaz, est toujours aimable et serviable. Les toilettes portatives sont très propres. Les installations sont basiques mais bien entretenues. Points à noter : manque de douches, suggestion pour un meilleur accès à la rivière. Quelques réservations problématiques et le site peut être animé.

A aimé The simplicity was exactly what we craved. It was basic, but good basic. The idea of portaloos fills most with terror but these were so clean, they put some of the "better" equipped campsites we have stayed at to shame. The people on site were proper neighbours, Kaz and her gorgeous pup were just lovely, the scenery and the river were beautiful (we barely got out of the river, between kayaking and swimming it was very much our happy place).

Lots of room so you can pitch up away from others if you wish

A aimé Don’t trust your sat nav. Look out for sign on corner ‘Camping” in the village! Felt welcomed and informed on arrival by Kaz . Plenty of space and choice of pitch with only rule (sensible) being 10 metres apart ! Tranquil location next to river. Dog friendly.

A aimé We had a fantastic stay at this campsite. The location is hard to beat, set in the beautiful village of Fotheringhay with stunning views across the surrounding fields. It was peaceful, scenic and the perfect place to unwind.
The toilets were kept absolutely immaculate throughout our stay. Another real highlight was the campsite's location right next to the river, which was perfect for swimming or paddleboarding.
Overall, it's a beautiful, well-maintained campsite in an idyllic setting, and we'll definitely stay here again.
N'a pas aimé The only downside to our stay was the campsite's no-visitors policy. We hadn't realised this when booking through Pitchup, as it wasn't mentioned there, and we'd arranged for a few friends to join us for a barbecue to celebrate my wife's birthday.
To be fair to the campsite, once we explained the situation they were very understanding and accommodating, which we really appreciated. My only suggestion would be to make the visitor policy more prominent on the booking page to help avoid similar misunderstandings for future guests. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend the campsite.

Quite and very well maintained site, the toilets where kept in very good order with a reasonable amount of them dotted round.
Lovely lady on reception, very helpful and friendly.
