A aimé Wow what can I say paul the owner is an absolute gem of a man very welcoming and very friendly always comes around to make sure everything is going good with a smile on his face

The land is massive you can pitch up anywhere you like on the field there is a tap for drinking water and also a cleaning area for washing up

There is a male and female portaloo thats always clean and fresh

The porta-shower is also very clean...

9 o clock in the morning paul does a guided tour of the animals and let's you help feed them witch is great for the kids and adults aswell.

Would give this a 10/10 for everythingThankyou so much for the warm welcome and great stay will highly recommend this to everyone...

Will we return again....100% yes

I’m glad your children enjoyed the animal feeding sessions, we plan to have an even bigger variety of farm animals next year! Hope to see you again soon.

A aimé Lovely relaxed campsite, this is a popup site so limited facilities, owners were very helpful and made some lovely suggestions for things to do in the immediate area which we really enjoyed. Kids loved seeing the farm animals.

We really appreciate your review. So glad your children liked the feeding session. We do our best to make this session feeding interesting for all ages even if the goats don't play ball all the time LOL.
We do our best to keep the fire pit and wood size's. very affordable. Come over some time and have a chat!

A aimé We absolutely loved our weekend away at Primrose small holding. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and a very safe environment for children. Loved the animal feeding at 9am each morning! The owners could not do enough for us, checking daily if we were all ok. It was bank holiday weekend so the site was a little busier, so extra toilets were brought in to assist. There was only one shower but this did not bother us, we just used it when we came back from a day of walking which was a very quiet time on the site, so no queueing. If you are happy for basic facilities at a very reasonable cost, with the warmest welcome from the owners, then I would definitely book here!

Our animal tour has proved very popular (it was very busy over the Bank Holiday weekend but that all added to the fun!

A aimé The family owners were really polite and welcoming. Would help when ever he could. Just had to txt to him. Felt very safe as the gate was coded. He came round in his truck many times a day to check everyone was ok and the facilities were kept clean. There is animals to see each morning at 9am you can go walk round with them. Feed the goats, let the chickens out and feed the sheep. My children loved how he answered all the questions. Would definitely like return next season.

Thank you very much for your detailed review. We really appreciate your feedback and you make several useful points about site safety and security. We do our best to make the site accessible but you're correct, it has an all round perimeter fence and coded security gates to prevent unwelcome visitors. I'm glad your children enjoyed the animal tour. We hope to expand this in time for next season as it has proved so popular. Sorry we ran out of fresh eggs, our little chickens couldn't keep up with demand! Hope to see you again next year.

A aimé So peaceful and feeding the animals was brilliant. The toilets were cleaned throughout the day and the owner was lovely. Really hope we can make it back again next summer

We really appreciate your feedback and its great to hear you and your children enjoyed the animal feeding sessions. Our site is far away enough to feel rural but close enough to make Hereford or the river Wye just a short drive away - best of both world we think!
We have much more planned for 2026 and we do hope you can visit us again next year.
