A gem of a find
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What an absolute little gem of a place. Loads of space, they limit the amount of people on site to ensure it’s spacious and quiet. No road noise. Countryside views all around. Super nice and friendly host, really hospitable. The little farm tour for the kiddies to feed to animals in the morning made it extra special, my daughter loved it. Huge area in the middle for the kids to play which was nice. It felt safe because it’s gated. Loos are porta-loos but they’re perfectly clean and even spider free 😜 we didn’t use the shower so can’t comment on that. I don’t know if there was WiFi or not but we had plenty of phone signal so that was enough. We’d have happily come back regularly if it wasn’t the end of the season for them - but we’ll definitely be back next year.
Disliked That it’s now closed for the year so we can’t come back again soon 😜

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We were unable to attend due to an unexpected medical appointment over the bank holiday weekend. The hosts were understanding, kind and thoughtful. They provided us with a refund (which we weren’t expecting!) and encouraged us to return next year. We will definitely be returning.

Thank you for a great stay - we will return!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We loved our stay on this campsite over August bank holiday, despite some very heavy rain! Huge flat field with loads of space for kids to play safely in the middle. Paul the owner is very friendly and helpful, and gives a lovely little tour round his smallholding every morning. The children loved feeding the animals and sitting on the farm vehicles. Firepits with wood are available to hire too.
The toilets are portaloos which were very clean, there is a sink with hot water for dishwashing, massive fridge and freezer, and USB chargers for phones. Everything you need for a nice relaxed weekend in a rural location but only a couple of miles from the centre of Hereford.
