Me gustó Friendly site. We were made to feel very welcome with daily chats, although our dog, Effie may have had a lot to do with that! Clean washrooms. Site was busy but relatively quiet. Lovely walk round the fishing lake.

No me gustó Only one peg in the shower made it tricky to hang clothes and towels!

Me gustó Peaceful site, wonderful views, superb hosts, friendly cat, stunning peacock, unusual shower, in fact everything. We were even allowed guests to celebrate our daughter's birthday with a BBQ, a family tradition of the past 20 plus years. Just hope we managed to keep the noise down for others. Thank you so much to Kate's parents.

No me gustó Weather!! Thunder and hail on our arrival day, which caused a power cut for a few hours and meant a muddy walk the following day. All adding to the adventure!

Me gustó We have been to this site before but in a tent. Love the facilities, the friendly, helpful staff. We also enjoyed walking in the lovely local countryside.

Me gustó Lovely large showers. Peaceful site. Bar facilities with discount for guests between certain hours.

No me gustó A little remote when we had no other transport available to us other than our feet!

Me gustó Best shower facilities used so far. Didn't know if we would make it when we woke to thick snow and school closures on the day we were supposed to be travelling. Quick call to owners assured us all was clear that end and when it stopped ours we were able to travel. Lovely quiet site, even the road noise was not a real issue.

Me gustó Proximity of the pub and the lovely family meal.

No me gustó Advertised as fully serviced but no water tap on pitch. For one night this was not a problem, especially as the tap by the aviary was frozen so we managed with the other onsite facilities but can forsee an issue when the site is busier.

The tap by the aviary is a 10 second walk from each pitch and normally this works quite well, however, due to the cold weather conditions we did have a problem with our water pipes.

Me gustó Lovely warm welcome, peaceful break yet near to facilities in walking distance from the site. Really helpful staff, especially as it was our first time in a motorhome. Clean washroom, great to be able to see all the birds.
