Me gustó Back to basics experience, showering with a bucket of cold water, separate pitches with a choice of shaded, woodland or in the open. Excellent value, even more so if you arrive under your own steam (I came by bicycle). Walking/easy cycling distance from Frome.

Me gustó Great location for seeing Purbeck. Level pitches, cycle routes from the campsite. Nice hot showers. Helpful owners.

Me gustó Peaceful, beautiful place. Saw deer in the evening and a hare in the morning. Beavers are making a dam in the river. New shower and toilets near the entrance as well as composting loo in camping field. Owners very welcoming. Heal Rewilding is a great project. (I didn't use wi-fi but can't un-select the optional wi-fi star rating after selecting it by mistake, so I'm leaving it at 10 stars).

Me gustó Large pitches. Adults only. Peace and quiet. Very well run.

Me gustó Friendly welcome, level ground, large well-marked pitches, woods, house martins, peaceful night, clean showers and toilets, driving distance to Chesil Beach, Burton Bradstock and Portland, good value, wi-fi (unexpected, and definitely a plus).
