Me gustó The site was lovely with large flat pitches, with EHU and water with bushes between some pitches for privacy. There was a bar and restaurant and nice clean showers and toilets which looked fairly new. The young lady on reception was most helpful and could speak perfect English and was very welcoming. It was walking distance to some stunning beaches and a short walk into the lovely historic village of Rinlo with a few bars and restaurants

No me gustó The site is located next to a farm and the flies around the site were horrendous. We could not eat outside or sit outside the motorhome until around 8.30pm until the flies were gone as they were relentless and you could not get rid of them

Me gustó The campsite is located in an idyllic spot next to the lake, that has a man made beach with safe swimming. Theres also a nice lakeside restaurant and water sports for hire. You can order fresh bread for deliver the next morning. It's all in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees so many pitches are shaded. The owners are lovely and helpful and there's always someone on site. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly. It really is a lovely site

Me gustó Immaculately clean toilets and showers, with adjustable temperature control. Good electricity on pitch with large well kept pitches. Lovely swimming pool. Walking distance into the town with all amenities and fabulous weekly market. This is a superb site with friendly helpful staff, can highly recommend

Me gustó This site is lovely and peaceful with pitches of various sizes set under the trees. Nice clean showers and toilets and a lovely pool, plus excellent snack/bar serving lovely home cooked food, pizzas and breakfast. It's a well run site, peaceful and located a short drive to Louviers. This was my second visit and I will certainly be back again!

Me gustó This site is so peaceful on the edge of a pretty lake. There are no specific pitches you just pitch up where you like. The toilets and showers were nice and clean and there is a room with sofas, with games and free wifi. It's in a lovely setting and is walking distance into the town with a decent sized supermarket at the top end of town

No me gustó There is no facility to attach a hose to fill your motorhome tank with water, just the push button type taps but there is one outside the camp on the lane outside just before you enter the site

Me gustó This is a very well run site with immaculate toilets and showers and a lovely clean municipal pool. Although a fairly small site they had regular entertainment such as bingo and karaoke. They have a bar, serving food in the evenings and a snack bar open at lunchtimes. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pitches were nice and shady. The site is walking distance to the village with convenience store and bakery. It's a great place to stay for a peaceful holiday

Me gustó This site is lovely, the toilets and showers are the best I have ever seen in a camp site. They are immaculately clean, with large toilet and shower cubicles with plenty of space with lovely hot water and a hairdryer. The couple that run the site are lovely, friendly and helpful. We stayed the first night on a grass pitch as it was very last minute and some of these are quite sloping, but the hard stand are fantastic and very large and level. There are wooden picnic benches everywhere on site. You are walking distance to the village, walks, waterfalls, pub with restaurant and steam railway. There is also a little tea room on site that does lovely meals if you fancy a night off cooking. It really is a little gem of a site and I can highly recommend.

Me gustó Lovely clean pool, large shady pitches, owner always available and helpful. The site is really nicely laid out and we had one of the pitches in the middle section which was huge with only 5 pitches. It was more or less level and had electricity. Excellent value for money. There was also a little bar/restaurant and although we only had a drink the food on the next table looked really good.

No me gustó You had to keep your hand on the shower button for any water to come out which was a bit annoying when trying to rinse your hair.

Me gustó Lovely little site with large grass, shady pitches. Immaculate toilets and showers and plenty of them for the size of the site, so they were never busy. They sell essentials in reception and you can also order bread and pastries for delivery the next morning. The camp site owners could not be more helpful. You can get a train from Ploemel station (large free car park) just a few minutes from the camp site, into Quiberon. I don't recommend driving there in a motorhome in the height of the season as there is nowhere to park and its very busy. We loved this site and can highly recommend it. Its very well run and very clean.

Me gustó Lovely large, clean pool, friendly reception staff, able to order bread for delivery, mostly shaded pitches, walking distance to little town and L'Ile Madame, great for cycling and walking.

No me gustó The big let down on this site is the overhanging trees, most of the pitches in the middle area of the campsite have overhanging branches to the point where they damaged the roof of my motorhome. They hadn't even cut them back on the little roadways to access the pitches. We were told we could only pitch up in a certain area and we couldn't find any pitches with the electricity we had paid for that you could actually drive into without wrecking the motorhome roof. After an hour and a half of trying, we eventually pitched in the area she said was reserved and just didn't go back to tell her our pitch number. All the pitches in this area were much better with no overhanging trees and it had EHU that was actually working, so we ended up having a nice 3 day stay. There was no signage to let you know which pitch had EHU and most of the points were covered in bushes. When you look at previous reviews, this has been a complaint for over a year. The toilets had no seats and no toilet paper (it wasn't that it had run out, they just don't provide any) and half the showers were out of order and locked up. This wasn't a problem for us as we have our own facilities in the motorhome but I wouldn't want to have been forced to use them as they were not very clean. They really need to get the trees sorted! It was a great site for families as there was a good play area and shallow kids pool and with a tent and no high vehicle there would be no problem accessing the pitches.

Me gustó The site has decent pitches of varying size, all with hedges for privacy. The toilets and showers are clean and the showers are large and there is a laundry room with sinks for washing clothes plus a washer and dryer. There are electric and water points shared between each 4 pitches, which was good for us as our hose reached without having to move the motorhome. You can order bread and pasties in reception to collect the following day. Close to lots of attractions, shops, restaurants etc. Walking distance into Volvic village centre.

No me gustó The laundry room wasn’t very clean and the ironing board cover was hanging off. When the site was full, the toilets often didn’t have any toilet paper in. Staff just let you chose your own pitch, which means sometimes you get a small tent on a large pitch, leaving the smaller pitches for those with large vehicles or cars and tents. Twice during our stay, someone tried to put their tents up on our pitch and the family on the pitch opposite to us came back from a day out to find someone on a cycle had pitched a tent on their pitch, leaving them nowhere to park their vehicle. There needs to be a bit more organisation for the pitching. There are no meters or tokens for EHU. So, we paid for electricity for 5 nights but even if we hadn’t, there was nothing to stop us from using it and not paying. The opening hours of reception are not adhered to, they tend to open up in the morning then disappear after sorting the bread/breakfast orders. I needed an extra token for the dryer and when I went back at 09.30 there was nobody there. There were also gypsies wandering round the site picking nuts off the trees and even though I informed reception they did nothing. The only toilte cassette emptying point was right up the top of the site by the road on the Aire spaces and there was no water to rinse unless you paid for it. The above points are just observations and its generally a good site and I would stay again. They could make improvements with no cost and very little effort and organisation, to make everyone’s stay more comfortable.

Me gustó What a fab little site, the pitches were level and the site was well maintained. Toilets and showers were immaculate and we were welcomed by the lovely couple who ran the site who gave us all the info on the site. The site has good free wifi and there is a spa shop a short walk away. Can highly recommend this site

Me gustó Another amazing stay at the Bungalow. Graham and Lin are the perfect hosts and cannot do enough for you. The site is immaculate and Graham is out every morning sanitizing every surface that may have been touched. The little helpful hut has lots of information on buses (which stop right outside the site), DVDs and books etc. It really is a little gem of site and I feel perfectly safe coming here on own, knowing they are always on hand should I need anything. Cannot recommend this site highly enough!

Me gustó A perfect stay at the Bungalow as always, Graham and Lin are the most friendly hosts ever! Graham takes you to your pitch then Lin arrives shortly after with homemade scones. Anything that campers come into contact with us all cleaned daily and the site is immaculate. The bus into York stops right outside the gate!

Me gustó This site is lovely, it has a good mix of pitches. Its down a little lane close to the village, but you could be miles away from anywhere as its peaceful and the views are lovely. I cannot comment on the facilities as we did not use them as they were closed due to covid. The staff were lovely and helpful, asking if we were having a good day and offering advice on sightseeing. We bought carrots every day on our way back to the site to feed the donkeys. They also have other animals further up the hill which we didn't really have time to visit. Its 10 minutes to Caernarfon and close to Snowdon, which we climbed whilst we were there. Its also great if you have kids as they have a playground. I can highly recommend the site and we will certainly be visiting again.

Me gustó This was our second visit to the bungalow. It’s such a lovely quiet site, very well maintained and in a perfect peaceful location. Graham and Lyn are the perfect hosts and it’s such a safe site as they are around all the time. You can leave your EHU cable and ramps with no risk of them going walkies! We will definitely be back

Me gustó The site was immaculate throughout, generous sized pitches overlooking farmers fields and plastic turf protector for good drainage and to stop your van sinking. Graham and Lin are a lovely friendly couple who greet you on arrival with homemade scones and Lin cleans all the benches and facilities every morning to keep it all Covid free. There is a little welcome hut with all the information you will need for your stay. It’s a small but excellent well kept site that I will certainly return to and would feel 100% safe returning as a lone female

Me gustó Very quiet site with excellent clean toilets and showers. The pitches are large and flat and well spaced out. All round very good site and although we don't fish we will definitely stay again.
