Me gustó Fantastic adult only campsite set in beautiful peaceful surroundings with a small river running through site, and lots of nice walks down through the forest to the lake or continue along on to the canal path and into town. Owners are welcoming and have thought about pretty much everything to make your stay enjoyable. A fantastic indoor communal area with sofas, tables and benches, kitchen area with all you could possibly need. A tv, books and board games for some entertainment, very quirky indeed.

Me gustó Fab wee no frills farm campsite..with excellent views.. basic but clean facilities..can buy firewood from site..lovely owner.. friendly and chatty..only a 20 flat walk into village, nice pub/restuarant, will definitely be back.

No me gustó Top of field is flat, the rest of field is on quite a slope so you might needs levelers. Still worth a visit tho, fab wee site

Me gustó Absolutely amazing campsite, great sized pitches allowing different types of set ups. Excellent facilities kept clean and accessible by code on arrival. Toilets and a shower. Also a kitchen area for washing up, has kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Also sockets if you need anything charging up. Very peaceful site listening to the birds chirping away, some lovely walks around the forest. Few mins drive from local village and about 5-10 mins from more amenities. There is a communal firepit picnic bench etc. Also fire pits and wood can be purchased at the site. Absolutely loved my time here and can’t wait to come back for the Friday pizza night. Excellent communication by txt message from Jessy who runs the site, great customer service.

Me gustó Just had my 4th stay at Rowter farm campsite. As a solo female camper I’ve always felt safe and welcome here and there is usually plenty chats with other campers. Fab wee campsite with great views, some great walks and not too far from Castleton village. Facilities are basic but kept clean. Shouldn’t be long before I’m back for my 5th stay.

No me gustó I’ve not found anything to dislike on any of my stays.

Me gustó Fantastic relaxing site with great views and plenty to do in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic but nice and clean facilities including fridge/freezer and phone charging point. Has on-site farm shop you can pick up a few basic essentials. Also it’s permitted to have a campfire or bbq which must be raised of the ground, so that was nice in the evening after a good walk. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Me gustó Excellent campsite, well located in the middle of Iona, with great facilities. Well spaced out pitches and we had use of our own picnic table and made good use of the bbq/fire pit area. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights instead of just 1. Everything was covered regards Covid with regular cleaning, sanitisers etc. Will definitely be back.
