Bodmin, Cornualles, Inglaterra
Parcela de suelo duro con electricidad para autocaravana
Me gustó This is a lovely site. Located just outside Bodmin, sheltered by trees. The site is well laid out, and the pitches are good sized.
The bathrooms were clean and well presented.
The breakfast offerings were great, however, we sadly missed the pizza nights.
We chose the site as a base for visiting different attractions in Cornwall. The site was easily accessed from all directions, and served as a great base.
Although there is no shop on site, there are local shops nearby (15 mins walk), and supermarkets 10 minutes away.
There are no children's facilities on site, but there was plenty of green space for the kids to run around and play in, as well as meet children from elsewhere in the country.
The WiFi was efficient.
Overall, a great site, with lovely hosts who were regularly around and helpful.
No me gustó Nothing.

Cheddar, Somerset, Inglaterra
Parcela de césped con electricidad para caravanas y autocaravanas Grove (de tamaño grande)
Me gustó The arrival and check in service was efficient. The pitch was a good size, although the ground was very hard (unsurprising given the hot, dry summer), so steel pegs were useful.
The swimming pool was a great option, and great for keeping cool on hot summer's day.
The bar was pleasant, with food available, and good portions served.
The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
No me gustó The WiFi was patchy in the areas far away from the main buildings, but it worked fine otherwise.
The site was pleasant, with the only negatives relating to other guests on site. Beyond the control of the site, and not reflected in the ratings.

Parcela de césped con electricidad para caravanas y autocaravanas (junto al río)
Me gustó Well maintained site, with good facilities on site and conveniently located to Stratford.
We were fortunate enough to be sited overlooking the river, near the bridge. Despite the proximity to the footpaths, we were not disturbed The bar and outdoor area was pleasant in the evening sun, with food readily available.
The river taxi service was useful, particularly on a hot summer's day.
The bathrooms were pleasant and clean. We didn't take advantage of any other facilities available on site.
No me gustó Nothing.

Me gustó Small site, that is well laid out and well maintained. Quiet during our visit. Friendly site managers. Clean and bright bathrooms.
Site was level, and clearly marked. EHU and WiFi both worked well.

Nairn, Highlands e Islas, Escocia
Parcela de gravilla con electricidad para caravanas y autocaravanas
Me gustó The site was located just 3 miles west of Nairn within tranquil countryside. This modern site was well presented, with good spaces for motorhomes and large grassy areas for camping. The onsite facilities included clean and modern toilets and showers. In contrast to other campsites, there were no Covid-19 restrictions, just sensible social distancing. There was a central refuse and recycling centre, and plenty of drinking water taps located around the site. There is no on-site shop, not that this is a negative for us. Both Nairn and Inverness are nearby, including a large supermarket and retail park area.
We didn’t take advantage of the nature walk onsite, or the play equipment. There is plenty of space for Frisbee or a knock about with a football, should you be inclined.
The wardens were welcoming and helpful.
Overall, it is a nice, modern site, with good facilities. It is certainly one that we’d use again in the future.

Fort William, Highlands e Islas, Escocia
Parcela de suelo duro con electricidad para caravanas y autocaravanas (de tamaño grande)
Me gustó Our visit to Fort William was en route south. Whilst the site was open, it was for self-contained motorhomes or those with onsite static caravans. As such, reception and all the other facilities were not open or available. A response to the recent Covid-19 pandemic. This had all been clearly communicated in advance. Therefore, we had no face to face interaction with any staff. However, we had received regular and informative communication prior to our arrival. The non face-to-face booking in system worked. The site was clean and tidy, and despite the no staff being visible, it was clear that it was regularly maintained, e.g., bins regularly emptied. Despite the site being well populated by those in both motor homes and in static caravans, we barely saw another sole. Admittedly, our visit was brief and over within 14 hours. It was certainly a site that looked to have plenty of facilities and was one that we would use again, should we be in the vicinity. The only negative, was the sound of local productivity from the nearby industrial area. Whilst it did not extend in too the small hours, I don’t begrudge the area and local population continuing with their endeavours in these challenging times.

East Calder, Lothian, Escocia
Parcela de suelo duro con electricidad para caravanas y autocaravanas
Me gustó The site is well located and easy found from the main arterial routes around western Edinburgh. As noted by others, the site does sit near the flight path for Edinburgh airport, so aircraft were frequently noted landing or departing. However, the sound of the aircraft soon became normal for the site and not detrimental to the experience.
Arriving onto the site we were greeted by the warden and the booking into the site process was swiftly completed. We visited after the recent reopening of the site following the Covid-19 pandemic. Some site guidelines were in situ. They were sensible and nothing too onerous, with a simple system for using the toilet block. The toilet block was clean, with efficient showers. An onsite shop was open, although we had no cause to use it. The other obvious facilities were onsite, grey water, fresh water, EHU points, etc. The site pitches were clearly demarcated and navigable. The site also benefited from being flat, and appeared to have good drainage. We had two visits to this site, both for one night, as it was used as a stopping off point heading into and returning from northern Scotland. Our second night saw Scotland experience heavy rain and thunderstorms. The site itself appeared to cope well, with no evidence of flooding, etc. The road approaching the campsite was flooded, although passible with care.
Although we didn’t use all the facilities available, they appeared more than adequate.
