Me gustó Lots of room to spread out. Lovely big site with well kept grass pitches. Friendly owner David comes and checks on you once you’ve set up and will help with any queries. This is camping so facilities are adequate but on our visit there were only five pitches in use. Great value for money.

Me gustó Loved this site! Super sunny pitch that was nice and level. Warden (Gordon) was a top guy. Really friendly with loads of local knowledge to help you get the most out of your stay.

No me gustó Facilities are currently being upgraded so at present you are using dated (but adequate) washroom facilities. It is camping.

Me gustó This is an undiscovered gem! The site warden was great from the off. We only stayed one night but will need to go back later in the season. The pitch we had was roomy and level. The facilities are very clean and maintained. Lovely hot water in the showers & wash up sinks. It is remote but not outback remote.

Me gustó Wasn’t expecting much of a site, but we loved it! Snug pitch but perfect for our Campervan. Facilities were adequate and clean. Good location for exploring the local area. Local store and pharmacy in walking distance. Local baker comes to site 6/7 days. Veg seller also comes to site 3 times a week. We will be going back as we enjoyed the site. Site staff helpful and friendly. We was lucky to have a local festival come through the site whilst we were there, which was lovely.

Me gustó What a beautiful setting this was. Even though 3 storms had come through in succession. It’s a remote tranquil place. Friendly owner and on site dog. If you want peace this is the site.

Me gustó Nice location if you have bicycles. We bike everywhere so for us the location was really good. The camp site pitches are a good size but most are shaded sometime during the day. A welcome blessing in the summer not so much when looking for winter sun. Saying that everyone just drags their chairs to the sunny spots whether that’s a roadway or not. It works well and people manage it sensibly. Washing up facilities are good and they have a good number of sinks. Laundry is good albeit only two machines and one dryer.

No me gustó My only observation rather than a dislike is that the whole site just has one toilet shower block. I never waited to get a space but saw some people waiting for a shower. (3 shower cubical) (2 toilets & 2 urinals) male.(3 shower cubical) (4 toilets) female.

Me gustó Location was great. Reception was very good. Facilities were spotless and nice and central. Everything you could want was either on the site or nearby. Local produce guys arrived on site with some fantastic local produce.

Me gustó Probably the best on site shop we have come across! Facilities were nice and clean. A great winter site as it’s peaceful. Great on site bar with entertainment. Good friendly /helpful reception.

No me gustó A bit of road noise can be heard at night as a main road runs across the bottom of the site. As we are winter camping we noticed that the site could do with a bit of tlc. This will probably be picked up in spring as it’s not piled up.

Me gustó Breathtaking scenery. Facilities were kept spotless by the on site staff. This is a site that is improving on a regular basis. If you compare google images you can see new facilities invested on the site. The staff are great and give you as much help as you could want. The use of a on site contact number means most problems are dealt with swiftly. Quiet site at night. The other reviews mention barking dogs but hey it Spain.🤷🏻‍♂️.Bakery goods can be ordered on site.

No me gustó Not a dislike an observation. The walk into Malaga is not for the faint hearted. It’s 2-3 miles downhill on the way out. We don’t mind walking so it’s ok for us.

Del administrador: HI Lee. Thanks for your comments and noticing that yes, we are continually improving. Any proceeds up until the moment have been invested back into the site. New bathrooms and showers were installed earlier this month. Our aim is to to have a site where it's impossible to complain but obviously being a new site last year, we had a a lot to do!

Me gustó Good facilities, close to beach. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Small shop on site but adequate. Slightly sloping pitch (35).

Me gustó Everywhere was very clean, the staff were really friendly and good humoured. Everything was explained clearly and it was a great experience. The clubhouse was great and the food was great.

Me gustó We have visited before but this is the first time in the new touring field. Tranquility and space abound. Tony has got the site just right and the railway carriages that people can stay in adds to the surroundings. If you can manage without electric the touring field is a must. We shared it with 3 other couples. Tony the owner is local and can give you some great information on the surrounding area, so make sure you talk to him for suggestions. We biked 5.5 miles to the local parkrun on quiet country roads (missing the A140) to Thornham Magna. Even without the parkrun it’s worth a visit due to the great little cafe and the walled garden to visit. Good phone signal for EE customers when we visited. What 3 words to get there. Drawn.backpack.logged.

No me gustó Treading on a thistle. As it’s a new area the thistles still have a bit of a grasp on the field. Although short (about 2cm high) annoying to stand on. These will disappear the more the grass is cut. So in a year or two will have disappeared. A small bit of noise from the A140 but nothing to detract from the enjoyment of visiting the site.

Me gustó Great site, Nice sized pitch, very clean facilities. The owner on reception speaks great English so no worries there. Pizza truck turned up on Saturday and it’s a must have. Nice walk down to marina on a trail path. About a ten minute walk. Nice quiet site.

Me gustó Tranquil site in nice surroundings. Very good staff, who were informative about the site. The shower and toilet facilities were spot on.

No me gustó Road leading in was a bit pothole strewn, but take it steady and it’s not a real big problem .

Me gustó Nice and easy site. After a very wet day the ground held up well. Nice little cosy pub on the doorstep. Friendly people in the pub, easy to book in. It ain’t the ritz but it’s safe and pleasant. Basic camping.

Me gustó Easy to locate and upon arrival greeted by the wardens in the office. Nice and friendly, explained everything clearly and offered up advice on the local area. The facilities were very clean and the shower was nice and hot. As some have mentioned, thankfully we didn’t suffer from the main road being noisy .Would consider again if in the area. Just remember it’s camping not the Hilton. We didn’t test the Wi-Fi tent they have by reception as we had a good phone signal, but I liked the idea for warmer evenings.

No me gustó You are warned that the grass pitches are on a slope, if you park at a bit of an angle it can reduce the effect.

Me gustó Plenty of room on the non EHU pitches, nice and level. Well worth looking at the Stonham barns website before you go as they have a lot of things going on at the weekends which you could book up for. We loved the quietness of the site and the good facilities. It catered to our weekend needs. On site shop is well stocked and the bar is very modern and welcoming. Special mention to Stu the camp warden, top bloke who explained the whole set up and layout so well when we turned up. Any problems and he’s straight on them. First class service.
