Me gustó Lovely quiet spot to relax and enjoy the area in the evenings or during the day. Nice to have a warm shower after a day of hiking in the lakes. Basic but more than enough amenities for a short break in the lakes, and very well situated with Windermere only 10 minute drive away. The hosts/owners were very nice and welcoming when they come round to check on the site.

No me gustó Signage to find the campsite was a little difficult with no signs from the small village or main road, which would have been useful, and being very remote gps couldn’t find the exact access location. (In fairness the owners were very helpful at getting us unlost and giving directions when speaking on the phone) The site was quite busy and only one water point situated next to the loo’s meant a bit of queuing while people washed their dishes or filled their water bottles.
