Parcela de gravilla con toma de agua, luz y desagüe para caravanas y autocaravanas
Me gustó Location, lovely walk along the canal to the plough pub. Beautiful narrowboats parked up and going up and down. Great facilities, toilets, washing up area, showers, bins and dirty waste.
No me gustó Unfortunately, our weekend was spoiled by the family who pitched next to us. Their children were constantly screaming, shouting and running up and down in front of everyones vans, and when friends arrived with more children, it became even louder. They spent around three hours kicking a football, with adults joining in at times, and the ball even ended up behind the back of our van.
Eventually, instead of being able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather, I felt I had to politely ask them if they could play on the field further down, as many people come here to relax and unwind.
I'm certainly not anti-children, but I do believe parents should encourage them to be considerate of others, especially on a campsite where people are looking for some peace and quiet. Constant screaming, shouting and running in front of other people's pitches isn't respectful.
I work in a very stressful job and escape in the campervan every other weekend to switch off and recharge. Sadly, this weekend had the opposite effect. The couple in the van next to us also commented on the noise and said it had put them off returning.
I usually book adults-only sites, so perhaps that's partly on me. However, I still think it's reasonable to expect everyone to be mindful of those around them. A little consideration goes a long way and would have made all the difference to what could have been a lovely, relaxing stay.
