Me gustó Super views over the sea, with some amazing sunrises and sunsets. Location is fantastic, can access a beach in 10 minutes (walking) and Falmouth easily. Facilities are good and clean.

No me gustó As a couple with no children we were placed next to a family who were rather loud. Maybe consider families being together and an adult only section.

Me gustó Great location to access Fowey and the surrounding beaches.

No me gustó Field is quite uneven, so can be difficult to find an even patch. Facilities are very basic, toilets in next field could do with a light in the dark.

Me gustó Great campsite on a working farm. Farm shop on site which was a nice added touch! Great location between Looe and Polperro. Facilities on this site were brilliant!

Me gustó This campsite is absolutely brilliant. Lots of space and separated into families and adults, so you don’t feel like you are on top of each other. Fantastic facilities and very rarely the need to queue for them. Location is also super- with great views of Cat Bells, Barrow and the ascent up to Causey Pike. Pub up the road as well to top things off! Owners/ staff are really friendly and always on hand to support with any issues.

Me gustó Great location about 10mins from Keswick. Super views of Bassenwaite lake and the surrounding mountains. Easy to find and a lovely working farm. Surrounded by sheep’s and cows which give it that countryside feel. The site was clean and well maintained.

No me gustó On our second night the campsite felt very crowded, people’s pitches felt like they were on top of each other. At times it felt like the shower was locked, for prolonged periods or only open at certain times. My partner waited 1hr and 20mins for someone to come out of the shower, in the end she gave up and the shower was then open 40mins later. Cold water for washing up as well.

Del administrador: Thankyou for your review. We're sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the shower. It is only locked when in use by other campers and open all day to use, August is peak season and we do get busy at the weekends, pitches are clearly marked with ample space for everyone to have their own space to pitch up. We are a basic pop up campsite so unfortunately we can't provide hot water from the drinking tap.

Me gustó Good location for western Lakes.

No me gustó Facilities in this site really need attention. Very old and run down, showers stayed warm for about a minute and then were freezing cold. Felt very on top of other campers. The bins were overflowing when we arrived and weren’t much better throughout our stay. The quality of the pitch wasn’t great the ground was rock solid and this made it very difficult to even peg the tent in.

Me gustó Really great site, really appreciated the fact there was an adult site and a family site. Facilities were clean and well stocked. Brilliant location, with mountains all around. An added bonus of a pub up the road! Staff were readily available.

No me gustó The road that divides the two sites can be particularly noisy but that is of no fault of the campsite.

Me gustó A great back to basics campsite surrounded by the beautiful views of the Peak District and the local farm animals. A quiet site perfect for my younger brother’s first camping experience. James went out his way to ensure everything was great during our stay. Thank you so much!
