Me gustó So clean, everywhere was spotless, everywhere. Lovely and quiet. Met the ducks! Lovely luxurious shower. The sun even came out for us. Easy to find. Only met the owner when went to pay for our electricit, she seemed lovely and was very proud of the site and how quiet s d peaceful it was. There is a pub on site but we didn't use it.

No me gustó Nothing really except all the rules and signs everywhere but thats why its such a lovely site!

Me gustó Staff really friendly. Lovely big,spacious pitch surrounded by trees. Lovely clean toilets and showers. They even have a bath in the family cubicle. Used restaurant in Basecamp. Really big portions and very tasty. Lovely lounge area to chill and have a drink. Mini crazy golf. Lovely outside seating area. Little shop selling essentials. Whole site was really clean and well looked after. Felt like we were camping in a forrest! Lots of wildlife, bunnies and birds.

Me gustó Where do I start! Lovely welcome from Norman when we arrived. Taken to a lovely large pitch with stunning views. Told where everything was and given a booklet with all the info. Told the bar was open on Saturday night so went to the barn and just in time to see a beautiful lamb being born. Then hubby got squirted with sheep milk as the lady that delivered the calf had to test the sheep's teats, to make sure she had milk for her baby! Also chance to meet and chat with other campers. Met some of the ducks, Highland cattle (I think) and three adorable lambs that were being bottle fed. Hubby's highlight was making friends with chicken! It is the most peaceful, restful break we've had. Slept so well. Woke to dawn chorus and watched the various birds collecting their breakfast. Cooked outside as it was 31 degrees and so waited until it cooled down and had the most amazing views whilst cooking and chatted with a lot of other campers who were out walking their dogs. Everyone was so relaxed and friendly. Never chatted to so many people before! Went for a few walks in the woods as it was cooler in there. Lovely little walk. All the staff were so friendly from the minute we arrived. We will definitely recommend to everyone and hope to return one day.

Me gustó We last came here 2 years ago when the new owner had just taken over. He told us what he was planning to do to the sight. It needed updating and a bit of TLC. Well, we were very impressed with all the work that has been done! All pitches now hardstanding and road around the sight is now much better. The whole sight was much better, cleaner and tidier! There is now a lovely little cosy coffee shop on site. Coffee and food was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Me gustó Lovely level pitch, friendly staff, our second visit here. Clean facilities and lovely hot showers with shower head which you can move! Have kitchen area with a microwave, which was really handy, laundrette room too! There is also a cafe next door to the site that does breakfast and lunch. Lovely site and dark and quiet at night and woke up to bird song in the morning, near a road but noise was minimal. Had to pay extra for electric but including electric, was still cheaper than other sites!

Me gustó Lovely welcome from lady at Reception, as always. Thus is our go to bolt hole as only 25 mins from home. So relacing, lively little woods to walk around attached to sight. Nice and dark at night, no light pollution. Lovely clean amenities.

Me gustó Quiet, clean site and welcoming staff. Spacious pitch. We were able to pick which pitch we went on.Easy to fill up with water when we got there. Clean toilet and shower block. Cafe on site.

Me gustó Lovely welcome, nice quiet site. This is our 5th time staying here. It's only 20 mins from home but ideal place to just get away from stresses of daily life and just relax. Toilets/washing up room clean and warm. Nice walk in private woods. Pitch black at night, so nice to see stars. Always feel refreshed when we leave.

Me gustó Where do I start? Location-so quiet, no road noise, beautiful village, walking distance of a pub, bus stop and places to visit,(Lydford Gorge, Lydford church, Lydford village-great fun looking for scarecrows). Immaculate site, immaculate toilet/shower block/washing up area. Staff were lovely and friendly from the start. Lovely little shop on site. Eventhough the site was full, as b/hol weekend, there wasn't that much noise. Even the grounds were neat and tidy and the grass mowed. First site I've been to that I would give a 10/10! Will definitely be going back.

Me gustó Next to the sea, lovely walks from the site. Well stocked spar shop and pub/restaurant 5 mins walk from pitch. Toilet block next to pitches look fairly new and modern.Were very clean and had to use combination lock to get in, so secure. Used laundry room, so easy to use and can tap card or download app to pay. Could see and hear the sea from our campervan. Had a curry van visit when we were there, we didn't use but was very popular and all food was cooked to order. Very peaceful and relaxing whilst we were there.

Me gustó Lovely clean site. Toilet block was spotless. WiFi free and really good signal. Pitch had ehu, water tap and drain, all for £28 per night. Pub next door where staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good too! Could arrive from 12 mid day and didn't have to leave until 11am next day. Lovely big field surrounded by trees and woodland. Peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely go again.

Me gustó In a lovely, peaceful area. Didn't hear the farmers' crow scarer go off once (as mentioned by previous reviewers)! Met by very friendly, helpful warden. Toilets/showers are very clean and have plenty of them and radio playing, which was a nice touch. Reception stocked with ice creams and things you may need/run out of. Nice pitch. Was lovely to sit out in the sun and chill, watching all the birds. Listening to the evening and morning birdsong was a bonus too!

Me gustó We like how friendly the staff are, the lovely warm and clean shower/toilet blocks. It's not a big site and you are surrounded by trees and woodland. The site has a private woodland to go for a stroll and at night the site is pitch black and so you can sit and stargaze. It's peaceful and we always feel refreshed after a stay here. Have stayed here 4 times now and there will be more visits.

Me gustó Friendly greeting, nice plot, clean toilet and amenities block. The peace and quiet. The darkness at night, not flooded with lights like some sites! This was our 3rd visit, we only live 25 mins away and we will be back again.

No me gustó Going home! Guest WiFi signal quite weak and drops out but it is free, so can't really complain. To be honest, was nice to get away from technology!

Me gustó Nice quiet sight. Entry into the village was included in the price for the day you arrive and the day after. Toiket/shower block lovely and clean. Staff at Reception were lovely, given a little welcome pack eith especially etc. Could use the hotel pool free of charge.

No me gustó Pitch was tiny(length was supposed to fit 6 metre vehicle, ours is 5.41 metres and the front stuck out). Shower trays too shallow as water was overflowing and no curtain to stop water going everywhere!

Me gustó Family bar - food was lovely and staff very friendly. Toilets/shower block very clean and music piped in. Immaculate site. Clear map to your pitch. Great for kids as has sports field, soft play area and swing park. Leaving, I wanted to go as soon as went to our pitch.

No me gustó Touring pitches very closely surrounded by static caravans and seasonal pitches. Very big site with everything crammed in. The whole A4 page of rules! The idiot in the caravan behind our pitch (A3),driving across the grass and touring pitches as a short cut everytime he went out. The lady creosoting her decking on her static caravan pitch when we arrived. It absolutely stunk and made me feel ill. Unlevel pitch. Used blocks but still uneven. The scalding hot water that comes out of the showers! Would burn a child's skin! Instead of hanging chandeliers in the bathroom put some antiscald valves in! Have to pay extra for WiFi. Some of the touring pitches very close together.

Me gustó Lovely clean site, friendly staff. Nice level pitches. Lovely spacious toilet/shower blocks and washing up area. Little shop stocking essentials. Had pond and walking distance to town/village. Security gates to get in and out. All concreted and gravel pitch. Well laid out site.

Me gustó Very friendly staff, immaculately clean toilet/shower block with little extra touches like flowers, soap bottles and hairdryer. Near lots of walks, local pub. Peaceful location. Gated premises which staff have to operate so felt nice and safe.

Me gustó The staff were lovely and friendly. The site is in an old stately homes walled garden. Site is immaculate, including the amenities block. Have separate toilet, shower cubicle with a sink and a sink in a cubicle. There is a 15 min walk through the woods which takes you to a farm shop, which sells amazing food in their cafe. They sell hot food until 4pm. I would recommend the burger and chips!! The pitches are big and level with a family area and a quieter area. You pick your own pitch and let them know the pitch number. This was a nice idea as we were able to get a lovely pitch. The reception has a little shop selling essentials. Security gates in and out. Get given a card to operate the barrier.
