Me gustó Wide open, superb views, quiet. Loos and showers whilst in a trailer type arrangement are always spotless and clean.
Perfect to wind down and relax. Good food at the two local pubs and some great walking and cycling on trails right next to the site.
No me gustó Nothing to dislike whatsoever

Me gustó Good comms from the site prior to arrival which included all the details of the site, and a map layout of the pitches detailing the one that we were booked to go on to. This made getting to our pitch a doddle. We were met by the wardens within an hour of setting up who were friendly and they gave us warm welcome.
Good play area for children which seemed to be located in a family area away from our pitch which was nice - I'm not complaining - we did the camping with children thing a long time ago - great to see them play but not right next to us thank-you!!!

Del administrador: Thank you so much for your kind and detailed feedback! We’re really pleased to hear the welcome email helped make your arrival smooth and stress-free. It’s also lovely to know our wardens made you feel welcome, and that you appreciated the layout of the site, especially the thoughtful positioning of the play area. We do our best to strike a balance so everyone can enjoy their stay, whether they're camping with children or just looking for a bit of peace and quiet. We hope to see you again soon for another relaxing visit!

Me gustó Wow - what a find! My understanding that this fabulous site hasn't been open to those camping or motorhoming for very long, however I'm sure that the owners are going to enjoy a very successful business!.
The location is very rural with great views across the Hampshire countryside however the marvellous Ropley Station on the Watercress Line is only a 10 minute walk away which gives you the opportunity to jump on the heritage railway and get yourself to the nearby towns of Alresford or Alton for good shops and good food.
The facilities on site are of a very high standard and very clean, and the pitches are generous in size and well separated from neighbours.
Would we go again? Most definately and thoroughly recommended however I'd rather keep this site a secret for ourselves really!
No me gustó There's nothing to dislike!

Del administrador: Hello Shaun, I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We only opened up the main field c. 6 weeks ago with these new wildlife-friendly pitches. It does also give us a lot of joy to be able to share our site with our guests so they too can also get to experience all this setting has to offer. Hopefully you will book to visit us again in the future. Thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review. Best wishes, Michele

Me gustó A lovely little place on a working farm. Met upon arrival by owner Kylie who told us everything we needed to know about our stay.
The pitches are not marked out regimentally, so you pitch near to one of the hookups (if you're using one) We chose a pitch and set ourselves up. We the first there but when others came along, everyone had generous amount of space between each other.
The weather was hot and sunny and the woodland which was behind us gave us decent shade.
There's a lovely little idependant garden centre just up the road which has a cafe and the local pub is a 10 minute walk further on.
Upon departure, we were waved off by Kylie who we told that we would be back sometime soon.
A very relaxing night away.
No me gustó That we couldn't stay longer than the one night!

Me gustó Martha's Down is a little gem of a place to get away from it all. It's a good sized field which apart from the electric hook up pitches, is free for you to make camp anywhere. Rob the owner appears a few times during the day to ensure that everything is spic and span and to hand out fire pits and lots of logs for those who have ordered them (this can be done directly through him if you change your mind once on site). There is a 10 minute walk down to the village with two great pubs to enjoy yourself in - they are both very welcoming. Walking back up the hill (it's not too steep) is only slower if you've filled yourselves up on the excellent food and beers that they've offered you!!
The toilets and showers are good, functional and clean and better than some other sites that we've stayed in.
Plenty of room to fly kites, have a game of footy with the kids, and well behaved dogs are tolerated. There are some nice walks around there but be prepared as whilst not steep, there is little flat ground to walk through which gives you the bonus of being able to take in some great views of the beautiful surrounding Wiltshire countryside.
We've been to a lot of sites and this is in our top 3 - it has everything we like in a site and are a little reluctant to tell everyone else in case it becomes too popular!!!
No me gustó There's nothing that we dislike!
