Me gustó We really enjoyed our stay at Holme Lea Campsite. There is plenty of pitch space, so it feels peaceful and never too crowded. The location is calm and quiet, which is great for relaxing. The owners are friendly and welcoming. It is also very child-friendly, with a play area and plenty of open space for children to play and enjoy themselves. There is lots of space for kids to cycle around safely as well. Overall, it is a lovely, peaceful campsite with plenty of space for families.

No me gustó The toilet and shower facilities could be improved. There is only one paid shower available, which can create a long waiting time, especially when the campsite is busy. The cleanliness of the toilet facilities could also be improved. It would be great to have more shower facilities and better-maintained toilets.

Del administrador: Hi Thank you very much for your review. Pleased you and your family enjoyed their stay. Can I confirm The toilets are cleaned and checked throughout the day. We have many reviews confirming cleanliness of facilities. The toilet unit itself is dated I agree, and is being renewed for 2027 season. The shower room was added for tent campers who don’t have their own facilities. We do monitor it and even this August Bank Holiday with higher footfall there hasn’t been an issue of waiting for shower that we have seen. We are trying to juggle keeping Pitchup fees as reasonable as possible as well as providing a good experience which is not easy.
