Me gustó Really quiet, delightful hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble, great facilities. Only two minutes from the A38.

Me gustó Nice, interesting playground at the site. Water at every pitch, and hook-up. Good facilities. Quiet place, with some interesting water features around.

Me gustó Beautiful place and newly refurbished facilities. Away from it all, yet plenty going on.

No me gustó When we visited, it wasn't quite finished (in fact, due to an administrative error, we weren't supposed to have booked at all, but our host was very accommodating)

Me gustó Great location, easy walk into Porthleven. Relaxed landlord. Good power provision. Fast-running water fill up and hot showers.

No me gustó Some noise from the road, though they have obviously worked hard to reduce it with a substantial fence. Toilets were a bit ropey and shared with the pub. Shame the nearer block was closed. Wifi had a strong signal, but the Internet connectivity was patchy.

Me gustó Well-equipped site with great facilities. Plenty to do for everyone. Great location too. Good size: not too large but big enough to have what you need. Facilities kept clean and tidy. Nobody stole the soap we kept leaving in the washing-up area!

No me gustó We seemed to be in the cloud for most of our stay :-( Toilet ran out of loo paper and the hairdryer didn't work. Wifi signal insufficient from our pitch and there was no obvious way to access the free wifi.

Del administrador: Thanks for the review Clive, we are glad that you managed to all enjoy the facilities we have on the holiday park during the bad weather we seem to have experienced all summer long so far :( The wifi is accessible by just clicking to connect to 'lanyon free wifi' there is no login or passwords required, you just have to tick a button to agree to the terms of usage.

Me gustó Really helpful and friendly staff. Very well presented site. Fantastic games room and informal restaurant area. Great showers. Making a lot of effort to be Eco friendly. Children enjoyed the playground.

No me gustó Lots of narrow roads in the area! Didn't fancy paying for WiFi. Many sites offer this for free.

Me gustó Lovely views, definitely "amongst nature"

No me gustó Noisy and inconsiderate other campers, making a racket at 1am, in spite of clearly stated campsite rules of "quiet after 9pm". Not that the campsite managers did much in the way to deter them. In spite of complaints, they still made a lot of noise the following night. Also, the managers permitted their dog to freely roam the campsite, in spite of their own rules to keep dogs on leads. This even led to an injury to my daughter caused by the dog. We were not impressed. And the showers ran hot and cold.

Me gustó Really nice site and the staff were as friendly as had been advertised! Great facilities and all nicely presented. Detling Village has a superb Community Store with much more interesting things than you usually find at your local convenience store. There's also an M&S food just over the M20. The WiFi worked really well, and there were lots of other children for ours to play with.

No me gustó The scouts were staying at the County Showground and were a little noisy, but that's a very unusual occurrance!
