Me gustó What a lovely find! Peaceful spot surrounded by rabbits and chickens. Perfectly flat pitch and the new toilet and showers are fab. The showers were the best ones we had had all week, no push buttons! We were given a warm welcome by Cecile. The only noise was from the owls. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the area as only had one night but would love to come back.

Me gustó Location for hiking in Little Switzerland area.

No me gustó A festival was taking place at the site for the whole weekend which we were not aware of. The site should have removed the option to book via pitch up for the weekend as this wasn’t fair when we were expecting a quiet site. Instead we had noise until the early hours, much as it was entertaining hearing the ‘healing tent’ at 1am the screaming and screeching didn’t belong to any owls. The toilets were not being cleaned and pretty filthy. Again if you are having a festival then I would expect attention to cleaning as it’s obvious it would be needed more frequently.

Me gustó Lovely peaceful location, not crowded with lots of space around the pitches. Plenty of walks from the site and easy to get to walks over the South Downs. Facilities were basic but as this is an off grid site that was expected.

Me gustó Facilities were immaculate and location was great. There was someone cleaning the toilet and shower block all of the time. We asked to move pitch when we decided to stay a second night, that was done easily and the staff were really helpful. The restaurant had great food and it was good to have fresh bread in the shop every morning. Location to get to the beach and to visit the beautiful town of Comillas was perfect.

Me gustó Location, good facilities which were clean, hot showers that weren’t on a push button ( always a bonus) easy walk into the town.

No me gustó The pitches were a bit cramped together under the trees.

Me gustó Being able to get on a bus into San Sebastián. Facilities were good.

No me gustó The lack of any soap or even any soap dispensers in the toilets. Pretty bad, I did speak to the reception team about this but no idea if they will install any.

Me gustó Fabulous site that we have returned to. Spacious pitches, we had our camper van on the hill which was lovely. Lovely and peaceful with great facilities. We loved the pizza night in the barn and will be back again.

Me gustó Peaceful with fantastic facilities. Flat pitch for our campervan, toilets and showers were spotless. We didn’t use the honesty shop but it looked lovely. Local pub an easy walk away along a quiet lane. Great welcome from the owner with good suggestions for places to visit.

Me gustó Fabulous site, peaceful with lovely owners who were very welcoming. Facilities were lovely and clean. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

Del administrador: Thanks for your positive comments. We are doing all we can to combat the road noise with extra planting of trees, shrubs and laurel bushes. These will take time to grow but they will help in the long term.

Me gustó Fabulous location, peaceful with dog friendly walks on site. Great to have the barn in the evening for board games and table tennis. Facilities were spotless and the owners went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We would 100% recommend this site.
