Me gustó The site is great for access to the town centre, a good walk along the river or on a fabulous cycle route. The plots are adequate and access is very good from the main route. Its very good for a stop from the northern ports heading south. The facilities however are dated and in need of a good scrub and, better, a complete refurbishment: The water pressure in the shower however is fab.

No me gustó the state of the showers and toilets.

Me gustó The site is fantastic for walking and cycling, it's an easy ride via a great cycle lane and a lovely riverside walk into the city. Across the road is a forest and an open area for walking the dog, if you have one. The restaurant is reasonable and the food more than passable.

No me gustó Not really a dislike, just some comments: The pitches are pretty uneven, and the facilities need updating, although relatively clean. We first stayed 6 years ago, and there doesn't seem to have been much updating or maintenance done.

Me gustó We always try to get a plot overlooking the creek. They are large and almost flat. The on-site cafe has improved and is good for quick snacks. We arrived late from the ferry and would normally have had to park outside, but thankfully Andy, the site manager, had waited up and let us in. Thank you, Andy. There is a water sports outlet on site for kayaks and paddleboards.

Me gustó We had a reasonably flat plot in front of the portacabin showers and toilets in the field with our motorhome. We were the only passing clients there at the time, at the end of April 2026 so it was fine.

No me gustó Only two showers in the portacabin block in the field, so when busy, it could be a challenge. The place for vans is a field at the back, and it is not very well laid out; it could be a problem in the wet for traction. Although there is a cafe, it was shut, and the place is quite remote if you don't have transport. I wouldn't recommend cycling up and down unless you are very fit. TBH the place needs some invesment.

Me gustó A lovely location amongst the pine trees. Easy access from the road and on the route south or north.

Me gustó Great size pitches with water and electric. Friendly staff, very helpful. Lovely pizzas in the cafeteria. Beautiful setting and surroundings. Taxi's to Bayonne and Biarritz were available and the reception kindly called them for us.

No me gustó Shared showers and toilets. I know it's France, but in this day and age?? No toilet seats on the toilets. The showers started warm but gradually got colder as it went on. If you are at the end of the site, the facilities are quite a distance. There are limited options for food in the cafe, but the burger and the pizzas were excellent. It's the most expensive place we have stayed and can't figure out why.

Me gustó Love the surrounding countryside and the village. We have been there before and would go back. There is a small hotel on the site with a good restuarant for local dishes. Good and clean facilities.

Me gustó Relatively flat pitches delineated by hedges, plenty of shade from the trees, easy access from the main A66 route.

No me gustó Inferior facilities that appear to have been built during World War II. The on-site cafe is not great. Limited reception. Needs some money spent. This could be a wonderful site but probably resting on its laurels. No toilet seats in the loos. Maybe they could make extra revenue by renting them out? My wife would not use the showers.

Me gustó The pitches are relatively flat and feature individual showers, toilets, and wash basins. There is a large garden area with a large swimming pool. The place is a municipal facility, however, and it becomes very crowded in the summer. We haven't been here at other times, so we don't know what it would be like. The food in the cafeteria/restaurant is a little industrial.

No me gustó No thing really. it is very hot in summer but that's not their fault. :)

Me gustó Lovely position water sports on site, mostly flat pitches and great for walking the dog.

No me gustó The food on site was hit and miss. Very poor, the tapas (for us, we live in Spain) were inedible. We the rest was largely cafe style and not great.

Me gustó Fabulous location right by the beautiful beach.

No me gustó In a motorhome it is a bit isolated if you don't have alternative transport. We took our dogs and there are not many walks to take them other than around the vicinity. The small shower block to the west of the complex did not have hot water at the time of our visit and was only Luke warm. There were however no queues to it during the limited amount of folks allowed with the COVID rules

Me gustó Large space with reasonably level plots. We had our dogs with us and there are lots of great, flat, walks around the area but the river and around the local woods. It is an easy stroll to the city centre. It took me 19 minutes at a brisk pace to reach the local Mercadona supermarket.

No me gustó The plots were level by and large but quite bumpy and irregular.

Me gustó Each plot has its own little bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Electric and water on the outside too. There is a cafe/restuarant but we didn't use it and there is what looked like lovely grounds and a large swimming pool. We were on the way south to north so this was a stopping point. It is however ideal and we would use again.

No me gustó Not all the pitches are fully level and a lot ( in summer) have little grass so may be an idea to have a ground sheet. Some of the pitches have low walls that are not fenced. We have an old dog that is blind and it was a worry. Could also be a worry for small children. They're not high but enough for a fall. could be and idea to check out the plot first if this applies.
