The beach by the site is a lovely one, but you don’t have to limit yourself to staying there – alternatively, you might like to take the 15-minute walk to the dunes of Plage des Trois Moutons (a good spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing) or head to the sheltered cove at Plage de Béniguet (10 minutes’ drive). To explore more of the coastline, perhaps you’d like to take a boat trip or book a fishing excursion with Vedettes des Abers (20 minutes), or board a ferry in Le Conquet (35 minutes) for a day on Île-Molène, strolling on white-sand beaches and looking to see if you can spot seals. And if you’d like to find out a bit more about what lives under the waves, there’s a great collection of marine life at Océanopolis in Brest (35 minutes). For something a bit different, spend the day among the rides and games at Les Trois Curés theme park (20 minutes) or take a step back into the past at Musée Mémoires 39-45 (35 minutes).
