Me gustó: That's our 3rd year going there, we love it there , it's private ,good facilities, the pitch area was refurbished and looks much better, nice walks around, pub around the corner so what's not to love! 😊

Me gustó: Park is quiet and warden Paul is very helpful. Nice area to walk dogs and playground for kids is good.

No me gustó: Pitches very close feels crammed in. Lack of signal and no on site wifi.

We're glad you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the helpfulness of our warden, Paul, and the convenient areas for dog walking and kids to play. We want to note that we don't advertise on-site WiFi, and while we understand the importance of good signal, we aim to provide a more relaxed, unplugged and connection experience for our guests away from ipads and mobile phones. It was Great to see the children loved the river, walking, games and BBQs.

Me gustó: As other reviews have stated, the toilet and shower facilities are some of the best we’ve seen.
Paul the warden was friendly and helpful.
Location is superb, right on the river which my boys enjoyed skimming stones and paddling.
Overall a wonderful stay.

Me gustó: Peace and quiet. 'Green' credentials, plenty of trees and greenery around. The best facilities block I have seen in 12 years of motorhoming. Spotlessly clean and extremely well laid out. Very friendly staff, willing to take time to have a chat.

Me gustó: The welcoming, friendly and informative staff. Nothing is too much for them. The site is exceptionally kept. Clean and well maintained. The shower/toilet facilities are the best I've used while camping.

No me gustó: Sadly, the road noise is a little disturbing.

It’s possible there was an unusual circumstance during your visit, although no other customer has brought this to our attention.

Me gustó: Nice level pitch with own water tap and drain for waste water. The toilets and showers are spotless, definitely 5 star.

No me gustó: Not exactly a dislike, but if you're hoping to get one of the hard standing pitches on the river bank that are shown in the main photo, these appear to be seasonal pitches only. The 5 touring pitches are further back from the river, next to the shower block.

Thank your feedback and 10/10 regarding our washrooms and level pitches, however we do not advertise riverside pitches so we fail to understand why you've mentioned hoping to get one. It's important to note that the riverbank pitches are indeed seasonal, which allows returning guests to enjoy their favorite spots. However, the touring pitches still offer a lovely experience, and being near the shower block can be quite convenient. We’re always aiming to provide a great stay for all guests and appreciate your understanding."

The facilities are some of the cleanest I have ever seen at a camp ground.

No me gustó: My only small problem was that my tent was located next to a light.

Regarding the light near your tent, we truly appreciate the feedback. Just to clarify, the light is actually motion-sensor activated and uses low-wattage bulbs to minimize any disturbance to our campers while still providing necessary safety lighting.
