Me gustó Outstanding host! Very friendly and accommodating, great with my two young kids. Kids got to feed the donkeys and loved them. It’s hard to find toilets and facilities as clean as here … can’t rate the place highly enough and will be an annual trip and hopefully more! The small site with large pitches is great and reserving the bottom area for play area is top notch! Genuinely could let my young kids wonder and be completely, no worry about a busy site or traffic. We were on the furthest pitch from the donkeys and my three and six year old could wonder up to see them at their leisure… full sight of the kids and no worry at all of traffic, etc - just superb!

Me gustó ** Hidden Gem** was absolute delight staying here for the weekend. Lovely scenery, very close to Haddington and north Berwick. Very picturesque. Hosts were absolutely lovely, grounds are well maintained. Portaloos very well kept and very clean. Donkeys were so friendly and adorable! We had quite wet stay on Saturday but the site has covered seating area that provided a perfect cooking spot! You have everything you need including dish washing station & washing line! We absolutely loved it. So did my dog.

Me gustó This place was a little gem. We booked very last minute based on a good weather forecast to take our two young boys camping for the first time. We initially had hoped for a site with more amenities (play park etc) but Wamphray turned out to be perfect. The hosts, Donna and her husband, are just lovely and so welcoming. The pitch sizes are very reasonable and there was plenty of space around us for our boys (and dog) to run around without bothering anyone else - and plenty of other enclosed free space at the far end of the camp too which was great for when we were setting up and taking down knowing the kids couldn’t escape anywhere! They also loved feeding the on site donkeys breakfast in the morning - a lovely little touch from the owners. Portaloos were kept immaculatey clean and the little shower was a welcome surprise too! We weren’t expecting one based on the description and for one night weren’t too bothered but it was a nice treat to have a warm shower in the morning. There was also a sheltered dining area, a little sink for doing dishes and a tap for drinking water. For rookie campers this site had everything we needed, in a perfect location close to the beaches at Yellowcraigs (which has a fab playground) and North Berwick which is an idyllic seaside town. A very family and dog friendly area.

Absolutely no hesitation recommending this site to anyone looking for a peaceful and safe campsite.

Me gustó Très bien situé proche de la gare pour accéder à Edimbourg . Douche chaude appréciée et grand terrain. Très bon accueil.

Me gustó Lovely peaceful campsite with an even lovelier owner. Received the best warm welcome after a long drive with some brilliant local knowledge to lead me in the direction of fish & chips and a beach.
It's in a great location, with clean loos and shower. The donkeys are adorable!!

Me gustó Great people. Great setting. Proper camping with minimal fuss but all the essentials. Sink, toilet and running water. Trial shower worked a treat. Logan & Winston as adorable as ever 🫏

Me gustó Everything!! The wonders couldn’t have been lovelier and were supper helpful of what to do in the area. And the donkeys were the cherry on top. Train station is so close yet you can’t hear it at night which was such a plus!!

Me gustó Great campsite - plenty room between pitches, facilities were kept clean and nice atmosphere. The donkeys and horses were a hit with our 1.5 year old. Lovely hosts. Will definitely be back.
