Me gustó - Hosts/owners were amazing. Really polite, friendly & helpful
- views were absolutely stunning, amazing location
- food van onsite is a bonus. Really handy and you are able to charge your phones with is great
- Large site so plenty of space
- Area itself is lovely. Nice walks, stunning views and a really cute village not far away

No me gustó Only thing we didn't love were the toilets/showers, it's not a massive issue but i will have preferred more modernised toilets/shower.

Another recommendation would be an area for kids either a mini play area or something of the sort but overall there wasn't anything we really didn't like

Our campsite is intentionally very much "back to basics." As working farmers, caring for the land is at the heart of everything we do. The campsite is located in one of our grazing cow meadows, and we've deliberately chosen not to develop it with permanent infrastructure because sustainable farming, protecting biodiversity, and preserving the natural landscape are our priorities. By keeping the field as natural as possible, we can support wildlife, improve soil health, and continue farming in a way that works with nature rather than against it.

Our simple facilities (we built them ourselves ) are a conscious choice to minimise our environmental impact. Our composting toilets reduce waste and avoid the need for extensive drainage systems that would permanently alter the field.

Me gustó There's nothing not to like, great views, you can pitch where you want to. There's a food tru k for breakfast and tea, the owners are so friendly.
Thers beautiful coastal paths that you can take right next to the campsite. The toilets are clean and so are the showers.
Campfires are allowed.
Of course you need to be responsible for your dog but if they are great off lead and don't bother other people they can wonder around the field off lead, no need to tie them down constantly.

No me gustó You have to drive to the shop, which isn't a massive problem 🤣

No me gustó It's a low standard of camping. Everything feels like a festival site with composting toilets and hacked together facilities.
Water is a hose attached to a pole in the open meadow.

We understand that this style of camping isn't for everyone, and guests looking for hard standings, modern shower blocks, serviced pitches, and more extensive facilities may be happier at a holiday park, where those amenities are the main focus.

It's also worth mentioning that you visited while we were supporting a local community event, so the atmosphere was a little different from usual and may have felt busier or more festival-like than it typically does.

Me gustó Super dog friendly, basic set up but as long as you are aware of that it's fine. Wonderful views, pretty quiet. Food van is great and will is super accommodating and very relaxed. Great location with 10min walk through fields to pub and immediate access to the coastal path.

Me gustó Location. Friendly. Flat field, lovely walks. Food available, good hot showers. Compost loos. Lovely walks in either direction. Lots of seals

Me gustó The showers were amazing, lovely and warm.
The veiws were incredible and the owners were so friendly and accommodating.

Loved we could have a fire and the fire pit was brought to us with wood for only £11, so much fire wood too!

Great having the food van for the evenings and morning coffee/ bacon baps if you haven't brought your own.

Lots of helpful advice about local walks, very laid back and welcomed us to stay another night if we wanted to with no pressure to decide there and then and no check out time.

My little boy is diabetic and they even offered to pick us up if we got into any trouble and keep his medication in a fridge for us. Honestly, just the nicest people and campsite. We would love to visit again. ♥️

Me gustó Great place, friendly owners, very clean and tidy. There’s a box of loo roll in each toilet so you won’t run out, There is a pizza truck on site in the evening and breakfast and coffees served in the morning. Washing up facilities, loved listening to the farm animals in the background. we loved our stay and will definitely come back, this is a peaceful, more back to basic site but I 💯recommend this site.
