Western Meadows Glamping

Me gustó Very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

A very welcome hot tub was ready to use on our first night and a lovely cream tea.

Perfect location for family days out and other attractions.

No me gustó We tried to communicate with the owners on our 3rd day to ask for more kindling and help with the hot tub, but our messages and phone call were not answered.
It was a cold evening and we needed to light the wood burner to warm the tent.

Del administrador: We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us and that we had not answered your communication. I am not sure what happened. We are especially aware of how quickly the tent cools down in the evening when the weather is not great and this is the reason why we give our guests 2 large tubs of wood and a box of kindling. We did notice all your kindling was used, but your tubs of wood were still relatively full!. On arrival we give instructions on how to use the wood burning stove and hot tub, but it can be a lot of information to take in and this is why I put all instructions in the blue and white striped book (along with photos of setting up and lighting the fire). We are very disappointed that your stay was not as good as it could have been.

Nesting swallows in the tent was a lovely taste of added nature.

Hosts attentive and welcoming.
Space for children to run wild.

No me gustó The wood fired oven/stove and wood fired hot tub meant for planning ahead which was tricky for us. BBQ was really good.

Me gustó Really nice, comfortable glamping set up. It couldn't be better really. Warm comfy beds, warm shower, wood burning stove. Well equipped little kitchen. Fabulous hot tub. Peaceful location. All very well maintained, clean and with lovely little touches. A real credit to the owners. Felt well worth the money.

Me gustó What a gorgeous place! This safari tent is so beautiful and comfortable! It has absolutely everything you can possibly need and more and their hosts are so friendly and helpful.
We had freshly baked scones with cream and jam when we arrived, so kind and welcoming.
My kids absolutely loved the hot tub ✨
Although there’s no WiFi the signal is great in that area.

Me gustó Everything. Peaceful location but just a 10 minute drive to supermarket for supplies or into Launceston. We just spent 2 weeks at Western Meadows & loved it there.

Margaret & Colin great hosts. Cream teas were just lovely. Wood stocked up each day for wood fired range or hot tub. We did use the range to cook on a couple of times & also used the BBQ on the veranda. Local Indian restaurant offer delivery so did that one night.

Beds were so comfortable & there are hot water bottles for use of needed. Lots of towels & blankets. Plenty of USB lights so remember to take something to charge them with. There are some tea light candle holders so take a stock of tea lights too. There are some electric lamps around the living & kitchen area.

Great base for discovering both Cornwall & Devon.

Lovely hot shower. Aga providing heat. Extra blankets & hot water bottles provided. Easy gas bbq to use.
Comfortable garden furniture and cosy beds.

Me gustó Absolutely everything!!!….I don’t say this lightly but Western Meadows is as close to perfect as you can get in my opinion.
If you want to escape from the hassle of ‘real life’ for a while this is the place to go.
Just sit and soak in the sights and sounds of the countryside.
The safari tent is stunning also, every home comfort you could wish for.
Immaculately clean and the wood burner is great and keeps the place toasty.
The hot tub is also spotless and warmed for our arrival.
There’s just 3 tents and tbh you wouldn’t really know they are there, and the owners, Colin and Margaret are lovely, friendly and helpful but also leave you do it.
We didn’t want to leave and will 100% return very soon.
