Lower Hyde Holiday Park

Me gustó We only used the bar/restaurant as we were passing through but all facilities looked great, just a bit tired but it is almost the end of the season.

No me gustó Very hard to find, sat-nav took us down a single track with no entry to park from that direction. We had to ask a passer-by for directions

Me gustó Nice pitch. Restaurant ok. Good location

No me gustó Toliets could have been cleaner. Hot water stopped working so no showers for a bit.

Me gustó The site was very clean and well maintained. Plenty for children to do. All staff were very friendly and polite. Showers and toilets are
Cleaned regularly. Although on very busy times there was no toilet roll. But I did take my own as used to this on other sites. Overall a really lovely site

Me gustó Was really pleased with lower Hyde, don't believe everything you read I was worried when I read previous reviews, grandkids enjoyed outside pool

No me gustó Was a bit chilly and noisy first night but that's not down to the park .husband caught arm on a nail on main door of shower block did report and hopefully been dealt with

Me gustó Size of pitch, location and ease of accessing things on site. The temperature of showers, was fantastic and having a family bathroom cubicle on site was also a bonus. Washing up area was also a good temperature and useful to have dish racks provided with some swings outside to entertain the kids

No me gustó Size of pools, we didn't use in the end. Staff not knowing much about the paid for activities (we did similar things off site for a lesser cost)
Bathrooms and washing up area were not cleaned often enough for the volume of people using them so loo roll would run out, bins overflowed etc

A long hilly walk from campsite to entertainment area and severely limited parking made access difficult in the evening

Me gustó Good sized pitches (not flat and ant infested)

No me gustó Terrible ant infestation on pitch. Most pitches had gone out and spent money on ant powder. Ants everywhere in our clothes, bedding, food. Must be a known issue.
Toilets cleaned daily but in serious need of deep clean and upgrading.
Serious lack of toilet roll. Always running out.

Me gustó Lovely welcome and information given.
Lovely spacious pitches, a little walk to toilet block / main area for LO so a scooter or bike is helpful.

Outdoor pool is great - good depth for my LOs (5&3) (was a little cold but fab in hot weather!)

Great location to get around the island and see lots.

No me gustó Toilet block isn’t cleaned efficiently and checked enough throughout the day - often no toilet paper and mess in toilets.

Showers don’t have any sides to put clothes/bags on / very wet.

Park is rubber chunks - feet and clothes covered in black.

Me gustó The staff and activities were brilliant. Kids really enjoyed. Food was nice. Entertainment was good 😊

No me gustó Activityes were a little confusing to book with the qr codes but the pool staff were brilliant and helped out alot.

Me gustó The activities for the children, aged 3 and 6, were very good, and the whole team were extremely helpful throughout our stay.

No me gustó The caravan we stayed in, no 19, was very tired and needed an overhaul or replaced. It was reasonably clean but I did have to buy bleach and clean the bathroom along with the kitchen equipment and crockery.

The swimming was good but staffing was an issue as the children couldn’t use the slide for some of the session.

We purchased the offer for 5 activities but the web site does not let you book online.

Teigan helped us when we arrived but because we couldn’t book online there was a lot of events we wanted to attend which were full booked.
