Nodes Point Holiday Park

Me gustó Beautiful beach 2 mins away. Staff wonderful. Food really nicely cooked and presented. Shower block clean and tidy. Well stocked shop. Bar and restaurant lovely atmosphere with plenty of tables to sit at. Lovely seating areas to enjoy the views, of which there are plenty.

No me gustó The fact that we were put in the bottom field that was open to all of the horrendous weather we incurred on the three nights that we stayed. We were due to stay for a week, but on the 4th morning, our awing was ripped away from the van with so much force that it tore the hinge from our tailgate.
We were situated at the bottom of a steep hill, so all of the rain running from the whole site flooded us.
I know that the park can't control the weather, but the wardens told us that the weather wasn't looking great, but didn't move us to one of the many empty pitches further up the hill. I was so upset that we had to come early as this was our first holiday for 2 years, but, we couldn't stay because we didn't have any living quarters.
We ended up throwing the awning away as we left as it was ripped to shreds.
It's such a shame as the park is lovely, but very steep. If you are in a wheelchair or walking with crutches ( as was i) or a walking stick, it maybe worth mentioning this when you book as perhaps they would take this into consideration and put you higher up on the hill .

No me gustó The chalets are not cleaned properly. I think the cleaning staff could do with cleaning lessons and the carpets god knows when they were last cleaned with carpet cleaner. The men’s toilet door up in the club house hasn’t been for 5 yrs the last time I was here.. looks awful and un hygienic..

No me gustó Shower blocks could do with a make over . Foods expensive for what it was. Cost of pitch was expensive. Free Wi-Fi was just ok but the price to upgrade was silly

Me gustó We had a very happy time at Nodes. The facilities were very good and the staff were excellent.

No me gustó The prices in the little store were a tad expensive.

Me gustó Great pitch right next to the beach. Toilet and showers are very clean

Me gustó Fantastic location, very close to the beach which was not overcrowded. The pitches are fairly level. Our pitch was huge and easily accommodated our Berghaus air 600 tent with a porch, we had lots of space to sit outside, too. Clean facilities, in fact, the whole site was being cleaned daily so there was no rubbish anywhere, lots of bins provided. The staff was super helpful. Our kids got a football stuck in brambles and lovely people who were cutting the hedges rescued the ball for them. Lady in a restaurant made our daughter's day when she offered to prepare pancakes with strawberries just for her after the breakfasts had finished and the chef refused. We were allowed to leave our car in the park after checkout to enjoy the beach before heading home. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the football pitch, there was a kids disco in the evening which was also nice for them. It was quiet at nights. We couldn't connect to WiFi where we were and the reception was not great but WiFi was good in the restaurant area so it was ok. We had a great time.

Me gustó Really good clean looked after toilets and showers. Stuff for the kids - playground and entertainment etc etc. great for beach. Helpful understanding staff. Overall we had fun.

No me gustó Ground is pretty stony. Bring strong tent pegs.

Me gustó Great location near the beach, nice facilities. Suitable for older and younger kids, there’s swimming and entertainment in the evening.

Me gustó Le personnel est tres agréable et compétent.

No me gustó Les campeurs ne prennent pas soin des locaux mis en commun (chasse d’eau non tirées, dentifrice sur les lavabos, évier pour la vaisselle non nettoyé ) et ne respectent pas leur voisinage ( bruit jusqu’à minuit voire une heure du matin).
Emplacement trop près les uns les autres.
Plage impraticable, impossible de s’y baigner ( trop d’insectes)
