Howdy Glamping and Campsite

Me gustó: Peace and quiet. I stayed in the camping side but glamping looks great. Amazing customer service, my van broke down and Tom helped get it started and then even called me later in the afternoon to check if I had got it sorted and make sure I wasn’t broken down in the middle of nowhere - above and beyond!

Me gustó: this is a new favourite. Quirky, rustic, friendly and fun. I am reluctant to give it the review it requires because I want to keep it all to myself! 😁 My perfect campsite is small and back to basics. This is most def that but in a positive way. Chilled out and very welcoming, I cannot wait to return for a longer stay

Me gustó: Peace and quiet, lovely clean toilets, friendly and helpful people on hand.

No me gustó: Not really a dislike, more a thing to be aware of - no artificial lighting (lovely night skies), so you'll need a torch.

Me gustó: Just back from an amazing and relaxing weekend away, the Yurt we stayed in was a nice space to relax and forget about the troubles of the world. The weather on the first night was a bit rough but that's Cumbria, we just lit the burner and had a chilled evening, after having a nice meal at local pub. ( 5min drive). On the second night we sat by the fire pit listening to the badgers and other wildlife in the woods, which we were fortunate to have to ourselves. It definitely relaxed use even our Patterdale was chilled and that's rare. We will definitely be returning.

Me gustó: Loved the little camper field, pitch where you like, nice and flat great peaceful location. Owner was really welcoming and helpful. Toilets and showers clean and quirky. Fridge microwave etc all available.

No me gustó: The road up had quite a lot of pot holes. The lane to the quirky facilities wouldn’t suit everyone but I enjoyed the little stroll accompanied by 3 very friendly hens.

Me gustó: Very cute campsite, facilities indoors in an actual building with fridge freezer and washing up. Owners very friendly - texted confirmation and invited us to a gathering they had the second night!

Me gustó: Absolutely love the laid back feel and atmosphere at this wonderfully located Glamping and Campsite. Superb facilities and a very friendly, helpful and welcoming owners. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Me gustó: We had a fantastic time at Howdy. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and approachable but left us be to enjoy our stay. They were easily contactable if we needed anything. We were treated as if we were visiting friends as opposed to paying guests. Cathy and Chris were amazing, when we returned from a wet day to find our awning had leaked and our bedding was soaked, they sorted dry bedding and fire wood for us and even offered us alternative accommodation. Absolutely amazing.
