Me gustó: Lovely friendly staff from both of the guys I met, very helpful and even rescued us twice!

No me gustó: Bathrooms are a little dated, but can see they are slowly been modernised from the nice modern panelling that's been put in, was clean and nice hot showers though so no complaints.

No me gustó: No fully serviced pitches although our receipt confirmed fully serviced pitch booked!! Dirty and dated toilet/shower facilities. Looks like a building site, mud everywhere and dog poo on our pitch.

No me gustó: Where do I start...paid for fully serviced and all that I got was electric. Didn't have a water or waste carrier with me so had no water for the bank holiday weekend. Was told waters over there, you need a hose pipe, disconnect it when your tanks full..no hose pipe long enough. They have chosen the wettest spring to start and do ground works and everywhere was wet and cars and caravans were getting dragged around with a mini digger. A tanker arrived to empty the septic tanks on Sunday morning , surely this could have been organised to be done before the busy weekend. I'm not sure if there is a world record for the most caravans on 1 site but I'm sure it was broken if there was. Electric kept going on and off all the time and in the end we just used the power from the battery. This site is nothing like the pictures at all , maybe in 5 yrs when works are complete it might be worth coming back but until then .....Its a no from me!!

Me gustó: Just left fangfoss after a Friday to Monday stay. Honestly had a great weekend... kids have loved it. Staff were really helpful...helped getting the caravan on and off due to the grass being a bit wet/muddy which can't be helped with the weather. Rocky is the site warden... really friendly ane cant do enough for you if needed. We was right in front of the park which was great for our kids (11,10,6). Whole Park is undergoing work so if your planning on visiting anytime soon be prepared for getting a bit mucky/muddy - wellies would really help. Facilities were fine.. no different to most farmland places so as expected floor got muddy with the rain and use etc but we know this can happen. Would definately return. There's a sainsburys/aldi about 10 mins away which was handy aswell.

Me gustó: Good location between 2 villages, each with a decent pub.

No me gustó: So... welcomed by the owner on a more or less 'pitch were you want' basis. In fairness they have apparently just taken ownership so work in progress. Electric hook up not working so had to extend to another. Then welcomed by someone reeking of booze who said he was the 'warden' - but didn't like the term 'warden' as it reminded him of the wardens where he's just come out of prison for fighting. Happy days... The same chap told me the showers hadn't been cleaned because it was a Sunday, then on Monday told me it was because he'd been busy. When I did use the facilities the shower was just a dribble and very poor. The site has had the trees stripped and is quite open, nothing like the pictures on here, I'm not convinced this is the best thing to do but would wait and see what it's like when finished! Appreciate it's being developed but there's a long way to go

Me gustó: Toilet blocks/facilities nice and clean. Nice location

No me gustó: Quick greeting on arrival, however no instructions about amenities etc. Currently undrergoing refurbishment, so the site looked like a building site, which I wasn't informed of prior to arrival. I booked a hard standing pitch fully serviced, however just looked like they had chucked a bucket of gravel on grass, no drainage for waste and a shared tap with adjacent caravan, so not exactly a fully serviced pitch as advertised. No wifi as stated on booking. No shop on site as stated on booking. Park was out of action, so kids was unable to play on it, again wasn't informed prior to arrival knowing the booking included children. Pictures on pitch up look beautiful, however they have cut all trees down which I personally feel ruins it. I do feel once improvements have been made this could bea potentially nice site, but unfortunately due to lack of info given prior to arrival our stay was not enjoyable.

Me gustó: Rocky the site warden was always on hand, very friendly and helped us when we had an issue with our caravan. Good location with potential, hopefully in the future once work is complete this will be a nice site to use.

No me gustó: The site is currently undergoing work, this meant we didn't have the picturesque, peaceful stay we hoped for. Piles or dirt and debris around the site made it unsightly. We were woken up on a morning by an excavator working right outside the caravan. Park was out of action. No arrival instructions provided.

Me gustó: The facilities nice and clean. Rocky the site manager happy to help with anything we are new to caravning, and he helped us with some issues. He also was very enthusiastic about the site plans, which makes us want to return when things are done.

No me gustó: There was no hot water to wash the pots but this is being fixed.
