Meadows Edge

Me gustó: Louise our host was very friendly and helpful. It was a quiet away from it all site in a beautiful enclosed meadow. We had the pick of the pitches when we arrived. Facilities were basic as advertised but very well thought out and clean. Thinking outside the box you could get warm water for washing up from the very good shower! A washing up area with bowl, sponges etc was provided. This was our first trip out in our van and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Me gustó: Our stay was for our annual father/son trip. Louise was welcoming from the moment she saw our car. She gave us time to settle into the tent and then introduced herself. The site was clean, well maintained and if you’re looking for somewhere quiet this is great. The bell tent was spacious and comfortable. Louise took time to show us around and introduce her animals. If you are a star gazer this is a great place as the night sky is amazing.

Me gustó: We went to this campsite as our first holiday away together. It was a really good place to visit for this, and we both had a really good time. We were quite far away from other campers, so it felt very private, and nice. The toilets and showers were as expected, and they were adequate as facilities. Our host, Louise, was very welcoming to us, and answered all of our questions throughout the weekend. We were able to use the fridge in the main facility. This was also a good location for what we wanted to do, and we visited Diss, Aslacton, and Norwich. These were all very short journeys, and were easy to get to, as it was just the number 1 bus. The Bell Tent we stayed in was very clean. We had a double bed, some furniture, and storage space. We were very happy with the glamping experience. It was very reasonably priced as well, at only £55 a nice, nothing else was as good for the money in the area

No me gustó: One thing we thought could have been improved, was access to a hot water tap. The absence of this seemed strange, as there was hot water in the shower.

Me gustó: Beautiful setting. Very peaceful. We even had a muntjac come right up to our pitch! Very friendly and attentive host.

Me gustó: Lovely flat meadow, fire pit, nice location, some basic but useful facilities, comfortable bell tent, welcome snacks. The hostess was very nice and welcoming too!

Me gustó: Louise is a fantastic host! We really enjoyed every part of our stay - Louise was kind in recommending an event that was on locally and we attended and enjoyed it very much. The views at the meadow are fantastic of the clear stary night sky, the site had everything we needed for our stay - would definitely recommend this site for people wanting a quiet relaxed break away

Me gustó: We had a lovely 3-night stay at Meadows Edge. Louise is a superb host, and the children loved seeing the animals. We had the whole field to ourselves for the final day. We're definitely planning to book again.
