Me gustó The site was great, in beautiful surroundings. There was plenty of space between pitches and the kids had great freedom. The facilities were clean and stocked up. The owner was welcoming and there if you need anything.

Me gustó Plenty of space as there are only ten pitches, no cars allowed on the site which kept things peaceful, owners leave you to it which makes for a relaxing stay. Nice to be able to have a fire wherever you want and have music on if you want to (and we had no issues with noise from other camps).
No me gustó If you’re wanting lots of facilities this isn’t the site for you but we were happy with it. Toilets and showers were clean, just make sure you bring a battery pack to charge your phone etc

Me gustó Nice spacious field, mainly flat, very grassy and not muddy as cars are not allowed down near pitch which made packing up mess free.

Me gustó Open field, quite flat. Wooden benches and previous fire rings staggered across field. The owners 100% leave you to it and don't bother you, they do leave contact information on the gate to their property on site if a problem arises.
The toilet and shower block was kept warm with a radiator 24/7 which was a good touch. There were 4 cubicles for the males (1 being a hot shower). You share a communal corridor with each gender.
I liked the 'arrive anytime' and 'leave anytime' policy.
No me gustó The only critique I could point out is what the owner said at the beginning that the grass could've done with a trim. The grass wasn't bad it's just If you don't have good boots you're toes will get wet. There were previous walking routes through the grass stamped out which you can take of you're worried about footwear.

No me gustó Showers facilities not great, showers all blocked and not any bench / space / hooks to put things on.
There was a resident camper who lives local, stays regularly he says, who was quite drunk and playing music really loud. We mentioned to the owner, who texted him and then he swore loudly and spent the rest of the weekend going round asking people if we were the ones who'd complained and was quite aggressive. Unfortunately because of this, I would not stay again becuase I came to the site to wild camp and relax in the peace of nature.

Me gustó We only stayed for one night but couldn’t have been happier. Toilets and showers are very clean, easy to get to on a night if you bring a head torch (if you’re camping you should!!!). Alicia is super friendly and very helpful. The wheelbarrows to transport your camping gear is a nice touch. Loved that we could have campfires, it really added to the experience. The other campers were very nice and friendly. I 100% would stay here again!
