No me gustó A lot of "pay for extras" were left in a tray in the tent like a hotel minibar which we didn't appreciate and also in some drawers. These should be in a shop rather than in the tent where we're staying, clogging up space.

Also some unclear charges on logs/coal which led to some back and forth emailing to get our deposit back after we'd left. We had to provide a hefty £150 deposit via BACS transfer (not a credit card hold) prior to checking in and then had deductions to the deposit (entirely out of our control to contest) as we had used some logs/coal which we were told were provided as complimentary as part of the booking, but it was only one bag each even though we were staying for two nights. Felt deceived on that as it was not clear at the campsite.

Me gustó The site was spotlessly clean, not too big and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bothy, which is situated with the 3 yurts at one end of the field. We had also booked the simple ready erected tent with camping beds, table and chairs for our 2 adult children, which is located in the self pitch area. Initially we were a little taken back by the number of small children and families ( don't ask me why as it's a family campsite and it was in the middle of the school holiday!) but actually we loved it. There are lots of games for the children; swing-ball, giant jenga, quoits etc - that we made great use of on the Sunday when everyone had gone as we held our own campsite Olympics. The bothy hut had everything that we needed and the bed was super comfy. Due to the government restrictions we were unable to make use of the fire-pit and bar-b-q that was provided but it didn't distract from our fabulous stay.

No me gustó Shower too hot for 4 year old couldnt be turned cooler

Me gustó Very clean and cosy Bothy hut, peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere, great location, and extremely kind and welcoming hosts.

Me gustó Amazing stay - friendly and helpful owners. Respectful customers who paid attention to campsite rules. Clean and close showers and toilets.

Me gustó Everything. There was a nice selection of outdoor games for the kids. The tent was well presented and comfortable. Bbq and fire were great and the kids enjoyed the magic flame colours. Communication with the hosts was also very easy.

Me gustó Amazing set up. Views are amazing. The facilities are very clean and not far from hut.
The hut has everything we needed for our night away.

Me gustó We loved Hill Farm! We stayed in the bothy - it was very clean and very well equipped. I was really impressed with the provision for children with all of the outdoor games available - football goals, frisbee, badminton, outdoor jenga and connect four. We had our own seating area set up and it was lovely to sit out with the Red Kites flying overhead. Laura was so lovely and very welcoming. Fantastic setting on the edge of Wendover Woods.

Me gustó Bell tent was amazing - very spacious with everything you would need! Great communication from the hosts. Lovely walk to Wendover Woods. Near to Whipsnade Zoo.

No me gustó One point off as the shower I used really needed the shower head changing/cleaning to get rid of the limescale. Not sure if the other 2 were in better condition?
