Lovely site and the warden was friendly and incredibly helpful, good facilities.

Unfortunately there was a couple on the site who were drinking and playing loud music on the site (still going at 2am!) An argument ensued which involved in the lady trying to drive her car and police being called to site at 3am!!! Not much sleep had by our family and it spoilt my little boys first camping trip. In my opinion the warden should have thrown them off site but was nowhere to be seen!

Nice quite site, friendly staff and very helpful! Children loved hunting through the woods for fire wood

Not a lot on site for children but near by activities for children, lake water sports!

The grounds are beautiful, nice big pitches and Gordon was fab and very friendly and approachable.
Will definitely return.

Toilets and showers are in desperate need of an update, only two toilets and one shower in the ladies and one toilet and one shower in the gents.
The washing up area was disgusting - Dark and smelled of stagnant water so we washed up at our pitch so it didn't spoil anything but i am sure the updates will be in planning stage now that Maguires have taken over the site

Lovely site, close to amenities and transport links. Gordon, the warden, was so friendly and very informative of the area - he’s an absolute asset!

Will definitely visit again.

Nice quiet campsite, kept us away from very high winds with the lovely greenery, well kept site. The warden couldn’t do enough for us, turning up we had broke the trailer and he went out of his way to fix the electrics. He checked on us everyday and made great recommendations for places to go with the kids. Will definitely be back here based on the happy, smiling face you are greeted with. Thanks Gordon 😊

Stayed before , and returned due to peaceful location .

The families staying there were under the impression that they had the site to themselves. They did not react well to other people staying there and bullied and intimidated ourselves and 4 year old Grandson , until we felt we had to leave and allow them to have the place to themselves .

Good, basic campsite in quiet location at a reasonable price. Friendly, helpful warden.

Toilets are a bit dated, with only a single toilet, shower and urinal in the gents. If the site were full there would be queues
