What customers say

This scenic marina site's praised for its peaceful vibe, helpful staff, and prime canal spot. Pitches are spacious, with some having full hook-ups. Facilities are mostly clean but a bit dated, with occasional waits. The Plough pub and proximity to Lichfield are big pluses.

Non-electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Flat level pitches with good access.

Disliked Pitch hadnt had any maintenance, What should of been grass was full of stingers, toilet paper, a full milk carton and an old camping chair.
We collected all of the toilet paper to stop the dogs eating it, but the milk and camping chair was still there when we left!

Non-electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Stayed for 2nights, booked ready for music festival at the plough, convenient. Spacious pitch.

Disliked Left over broken chairs and toilet roll in the hedge. Not impressed that the pitch hadn’t been checked prior to our arrival.
Shower block in need of some tlc - paint peeling off walls n limescale affecting shower head.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked There was water and electricity on all the pitches. The pitches were fully hard standing.

Disliked The showers and toilets were rather a long way from the caravan and camping areas, as they were designed to be used by the Marina.
The waste and recycling bins were full.

Non-electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Easy check in, friendly staff. Small site right by the canal which was perfect for meeting up with friends passing by. Plenty of room.

Disliked Would help if some separate toilets rather than all toilet & shower as can mean long wait.
