Lakeside non-electric grass tent pitch (small)

Liked Peace and quiet, wild camping, staff pretty much leave you to get on with it, very clean

Disliked Just for information it says hot showers but controversial as to whether that is hot or not haha, more like Luke warm (but it is bearable)

Personally I think £5 per dog per night is abit steep for forest camping unsure what facilities they are using haha, cost us £20 for 2 nights just for the dogs .. so did seem a little steep. (However personally I'm willing to pay it because we love the site)

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (large)

Liked Location was amazing, nice pitches.
forest pitches felt very close to nature.
The pitches in the forest were a nice size and not too close together.
The available facilities were kept clean
Owner/staff very friendly
Good playground

Disliked Only 1 toilet close to pitches, then another 2 with a shower at the reception area which was a bit of a walk away.
Only 1 shower on site, but it was hot and did the job.
No hot water in sinks for washing up/hand washing
Lots of bits of litter around in pitches and around lake

Lakeside non-electric grass tent pitch (small)

Liked I pitched next to their fishing lake and it's very beautiful and peaceful.
The woods behind the lake are gorgeous and everything about the place is easy going. Only 10 minute drive to the town of Church Stretton which has a choice of pubs, lovely Thai restaurant and brilliant antique and charity shops.

Lakeside non-electric grass tent pitch (large)

Liked The man we dealt with was very accommodating and helpful.

Our lakeside pitch was pretty and gave excellent access for our son to fish.

We also tried the air rifle shooting which was good fun.

Lakeside non-electric grass tent pitch (small)

Liked - Loved the quiet, area & accessibility of fishing, hikes.

Disliked - Was a bit dissapointed with booking a river side spot to know that nothing was reserved. Happy ended up being not there - was very busy with kids around it.
- Maybe also uodating the website would be useful to be prepared
