Banish any visions of a stressy holiday stuck in hot cars and slow traffic out of your head… At North Shore Holiday Centre, a family-friendly Lincolnshire site 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Skegness, you won’t have to travel far to stay busy once you arrive. North Shore is on the outskirts of Skegness, and there’s plenty of seaside resorty things to do within easy reach of the site: the sandy beach, pier and town centre are all within walking distance, and you’ll have to drive for less than 15 minutes to get to the museum, nature reserve, aquarium or theme park. There's tons to keep you busy on site too: perfect your end-game at the nine-hole pitch and putt, try out the arcade games, take the kids to the playground and go game-set-match on the tennis courts. Those with dogs should also be pleased to hear that the site has an enclosed dog area where they can be let off their leads. Feeling peckish? There are oodles of eateries within 25 minutes’ walk of North Shore, or you can settle in for a meal on site – call in to the fully-licensed bar-restaurant, then stick around for the evening’s entertainment.

Great spot, close to town and beach. Staff are super friendly. Facilities mostly clean, though a bit old-fashioned for some. Showers had temp/cleanliness issues. Families love the entertainment. Pitches are spacious, but expect some noise and iffy Wi-Fi.

All-weather fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked pitch size was good although everyone thought they could walk through ours to get elsewhere.

Disliked The mens toilets were absolutely disgusting, ive never seen filth like it, most of the mens were never flushed, urinal was full of sick, never again. they need checking more often. disabled toilet was left open and used by everyone as it was bigger.

Very quiet on the pitches.

Please consider dislikes but these should not stop booking here.

Disliked Having to use a card to go to the loos / shower / pot wash. One card between to of us.

Cost of a beer in the bar and the volume of the music. Needs a quiet area. We used the bar once in three nights because of this.

Toilets and showers were not as clean as they could be, not enough hangers in showers and you are gonna come out wet due to space / floor / humidity. The showers were too hot for me.

Liked easy check in, good level pitch, well stocked shop, lovely bar with good entertainment, found the toilet and shower block clean

Disliked no where to put anything in the shower, just hook on the back of the door

Liked Easy access to washing up, toilets, fresh water, shop on site.

Disliked Upon entry, we were given a map of where our pitch was and asked for £20 deposit for access card- no mention of what was on site, where to find other things, opening times of anything, how to access things, what entertainment there was. Just didn’t seem particularly welcoming service compared to other sites we’ve visited. Facilities could do with an update, particularly showers to hang your things properly when in the cubicle, the arcade had so many machines not working and the play parks were so outdated/ broken/ unsafe for children. Could be so much more than what it is, plenty other campsites that are cheaper with better amenities.

Liked Great venue. Lots of space on pitches. Park out front is good and shop is great for caravan parts etc.

Disliked Staff were not helpful. Took 2 days to try and book swimming at Coastfields. After speaking to them and phoning, they said they would get back to us, but never did. Had to send husband in to book, which they said they would, to which when we went were told we were not booked on.

Entertainment wasn’t great. Drinks expensive. Smelly shower rooms.

As soon as we arrived, we could smells marijuana and just really disappointed us as this os not what we want for our kids.
