Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Nice, quiet open space with view over fields. Not crowded, everyone was well-spaced out as you could choose your own spot. A couple of new showers and an outdoor sink for washing up were perfect. Pretty village and a lovely circular walk down to the coast goes right past the campsite.
Disliked Portaloos were a bit grim by the end of the weekend but were replaced on Monday.
No recycling options except for glass.

Seaside primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The non-electric field is at the back of the campsite and backs right onto the cliff top and beach. Not too crowded, and the field was flat and level. There are low banks of grass that semi-divide the field up and you can camp where you like. It was hot and dry when I was there so people were up with kids playing in the evening but after dark it was quiet and peaceful. You can do a good walk to Coverhithe along the beach. I did not notice a shop on site but there may well have been one. There is a wooden set of steps that takes you down onto the beach area which is quite steep and long and there is a long walk out across the sand/dunes before you get to the sea so not easy access for anyone who is infirm. There is loads of space though.
Disliked I didn't personally dislike this but I feel I should mention that you would need to keep an eye on young children because of the steep drop down onto the beach.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely, peaceful campsite, with a variety of pitches. I picked the mown "sunset" field because I like things easy but there were plenty of "wild camping" options. The sunset field lived up to its name :) The owners popped over as soon as I arrived and were friendly and helpful. Compostable toilets were cleaned regularly and there was an excellent array of bins for recycling. Lovely walk around the farm through wild flower meadows with orchids growing. I really enjoyed camping here.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely, small family-run campsite. The pitches were flat, level and mown, they were not in the slightest water-logged dispite the excessive rain we have had recently. Lovely thick hedges around the field made a good wind break and were full of birds, I lay there in the morning listening to Greenfinches, Lesser Whitethroats and Yellowhammers singing. The toilet block was small (3 showers and 3 toilets I think ) very clean and with nice quirky bits of old furniture. There was a kitchen area with a fridge, kettle and microwave for you to use. There were only a few other tents when I was there so I don't know what it would be like when fully booked. The owners were very friendly.
Disliked There is a background noise from the main road but the proximity of the road also makes getting around easy so...
