Hindon, Wiltshire, England
Powered grass campsite
Liked Peaceful site, perfect for back-to-basics camping weekend. Toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. Pitches (for electric hook up) were a very generous size and we were able to reserve several pitches together for our group. Easy 10-15 minute walk into Hindon which is a pretty village with two pubs.

Chilthorne Domer, Somerset, England
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Very friendly little site, pitches are a good size and fairly level, decent pub next door to escape to when it rains, fire pits are allowed.
Disliked Quite a bit of noise from the nearby road. Sometimes had to queue for shower & toilets.

Callow End, Worcestershire, England
Powered grass and gravel campsite
Liked Quiet; spacious, level pitches; bathrooms very clean and quite high spec for a campsite; room for kids to play; owner is pleasant and accomodating; lovely location for walking.
Disliked No on site staff so problems take a while to sort out; only two showers and one washing-up sink so queues at times for these (might have been better to have a more usual 'campsite style' arrangement as could have fitted twice as many facilities into the same building!); no freezer for ice blocks; no recycling.

From the manager: I’m glad you had a nice stay , we pay a recycling company to take all the waste away and it is sorted there end . We have opened the paddock next to the campsite for children to play in and mowed it so there is enough space for children to run , from the photos when you booked you will see there are no play ground activities , but you may bring your own activities for your children
