Liked Cleanliness of the showers and toilets, helpfull staff,

Disliked How people would walk through your pitch,when there was notices everywhere saying not to,tripping over our electric wire supply to caravan causing damage.

From the manager: Thank you for the feed back. Hopefully you reported the damaged cable to the on duty staff so they could sort this out and solve the issue by speaking those not obeying the site rules. Blakemere Village is seperate to the Holiday park and is a boutique village with all independently managed units, so we have no imput on their opening hours. We do have an imformation point opposite our reception with a number of local take aways that deliver to reception for those who don't want to leave site. We are glad you liked the sowers and found the staff helpful.

Liked Plenty room on pitch site, never used shower, had my own in van, but they looked clean and tidy. very peaceful sight. they had a restaurant just off site, meals were ok priced and tasted lovely, but drink was so expensive. a couple of nice walks but not much else to do, we went into Forfar and had a pub lunch on the Sunday in the stag Hotel was very nice.

Disliked Paid for fully serviced pitch but was directed to electric only, but managed to get our pitch after a second trip to office. Had to pay for wifi!!

Liked The Pitch Had plenty of room for car, caravan and picnic table, no tv signal, but you could buy a box from reception for £2.00 & £20.00 deposit that you get back when you hand box back. Great pub & great games room for the kids that was free. Would go back again, maybe in the summer months as more to do then. the toilets and showers were heated and showers were nice and hot.

Disliked The Pub being shut on the Sunday night on site & the hotel along the road was shut too. Sunday 23/11/19.

Liked The peace and quiet, nice pitch size, good signal for tv, nice hot showers clean and tidy. lovely restaurant just outside entrance, food lovely.
