Liked Location was great for us. Super communication prior to our arrival, however we needed to move from our allocated pitch as overhanging branches would have damaged our vehicle . There was no problem with this as the office was still open when we arrived, but not sure how this could have been resolved if it had been shut when we arrived 30 minutes before it closed. Lovely welcome & everything clearly explained. Facilities were in good order & clean, plenty of hot water although, as mentioned in other reviews, arrangements for black waste disposal were rather disconcerting. Staff at the Tartan Fox were very friendly & impressively professional. Prices are what you’d expect. A great stay & will return if circumstances fit. Thank you.

From the manager: We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We are happy to hear that the issue was resolved immediately. Had the reception have been closed, there is an out of hours number, so we would have been contactable. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed the on-site pub/restaurant. You were on a fully serviced pitch which included waste, water and electric. However, we are aware that some people like to use a separate chemical disposal, even though there is waste access on the pitch. The chemical disposal is located by the reception shower/WC block.

Liked Very quiet & peaceful. Welcoming & friendly owners. Very close to Camel Trail. Area is ideal for walking or cycling. Clean facilities & well stocked shop on site. Highly recommend & hope to visit again in the near future.

Liked A cracking site, conveniently located for exploring the area. Becca was a star - very welcoming & helpful, sharing her knowledge of the area with tremendous enthusiasm. Good value for money, site was busy, but not aware of pressure on the facilities. Local stores & pubs a very short walk away. Loved our stay and hope to return soon.

Liked Clean,friendly & quiet site. Very good location for exploring West Cornwall. Food on site was excellent & good value. Didn’t use the WiFi, so can’t comment. Plenty of room & things to do for all ages - the games room seemed popular.
