From the manager: Hi Mike. Thanks for your review. Unfortunately we can’t make the bin men come any faster for the recycling - it’s on a 2 week cycle. We do provide an extra big bin on top of this which can also take recycling which is emptied weekly - You are quite welcome to take your rubbish home…….. The cottage you are referring to isn’t on our property and is nothing to do with us. Unfortunately we can’t control who stays in this. There was also space on our other site so you could have moved if it was causing that much of an issue. We do monitor our own cottages and have a well respected period of quiet on our property from 11pm to 7am. We also walk around the site every night at 10pm to check this, no sound at all. We do live onsite and are contactable always so if anything was brought to our attention during your stay we could have helped resolve this given a chance. Wouldn’t say the site looks tired, I would say we are in the middle of a summer drought - but obviously you are entitled to your opinion. Most people find our site peaceful & relaxing, we are sorry you feel our site wasn’t for you.
