FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Hosts Jackie and David are both really friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and a good level pitch. Short walk into village.and woodland walk to the river country walks. Sadly castle was closed. Pub was open just a ten minute walk down gravel road. Toilet wash room and showers spotlessly clean showers are amazing a must if you stay. Such a peaceful and quiet site fantastic. WiFi a bit sketchy depends who you are with ee is a no go 02 works a treat. Go to sleep listening to the owls hooting, wake up to the song birds. Will stay again and highly recommend
Disliked Nothing. Just be prepared for midges take smidge spray and all is good

Powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Stayed here just the one night. We had a day in Southport then drove onwards to the site. Easy enough to find and helpful staff to show you where to go. The pitch was tidy and plenty big enough for us. Toilet /shower block was clean and warm plenty of space for getting dried after shower. Little coffee truck by entrance is a nice option nice little extra before hitting the road. Would return again and recommend.
