FHU gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Really well maintained and facilities were great. Kids loved the play area and dogs loved the dog area too. The trees creating a barrier are a great touch as you can some natural shade. The visiting food vans went down well too.
Disliked We were very close to the play area which was great for the kids but a bit of a trek to the toilet block and there seemed to be no system for placing cans with no loo (like mine) a bit closer as all the ones in the first block next to the toilets had their own!
The electricity point is too far for the pitch on the left though I was requested to reverse in but this meant my cable didn’t reach and I didn’t realise until the awning etc was up so couldn’t move it. We managed with an extension but would’ve been better to let me assess it myself

Liked Everything! Great open pitches with lots of space, water taps as easy to reach as the electricity and the best shower & toilet block. The only place we went to where it was easy to get hot water to wash up too. Views are amazing, especially at night where the sky was full of stars. My grandson lay on the grass looking up for ages & his only issue was that he forgot his telescope! Play area for the kids, grassed area to walk the dogs, easy walk into the village which has a fab butchers (pub too but we went in the morning). Site also has a lovely cafe and the owner is a real gent. Staff are polite & helpful. Great site
Disliked Nothing

Liked Remote. Did exactly what it said on the tin! Staff were really lovely, especially in the cafe and the steam boat trip was brilliant. Area is absolutely gorgeous
Disliked Midges! And bumpy road coming in

Liked Showers & toilets were great & staff help when I had a problem was good too. Area is lovely, right on the coast so once you’re offsite it’s great. The activities offered were good & food we had good too. Though sometimes difficult to access with dogs
Disliked Touring site is a bit messy. No logic to where people set up with tents/motorhomes/caravans intermingled We didn’t arrive till late and I was told to pick whichever pitch I wanted so I assumed (wrongly) there was plenty of space. It took ages to find one so by the time we did the office was shut and no help to be had. It wasn’t the worse but could’ve been handled better as I had informed them I would be late but I still arrived before the end of the check in time. The site on the whole was disorganised with no clear signs. It looks a bit neglected
