Liked Location, nice pitches and the showers and toilets were spotless. Restaurant served.some really nice food, and the guy behind the bar was really friendly.

Disliked Pitches not very deep so had to park caravan sideways in order to fit car on as well. Pool was closed most of the time we were there do to maintenance and everyone had to purchase silly hats in order to use the pool. Having spent over a month touring around europe, this is the first time we have seen this, so cant be for hygiene as all the other pools were emaculate! Wasn't told about a shuttle bus to the train station when we checked in, nor told DO NOT PARK AT THE LOCAL TRAIN STATION NO MATTER WHAT!!!. Went to Rome for the day, and when we got back to the car, found our rear window smashed in and our roof box forced open. Nothing was taken as we never leave anything in it, but it caused a lot of distress to my young children. Local police weren't interested, and neither were the reception staff who said they would send some one over in the morning with material to board it out, yet never came. Ended up using a couple of old pizza boxes and a bin bag - not ideal for a 5 hour drive the next day!! On the last night, a member of staff was doing their rounds and asked about the window. He said we should have been told about that carpark when we checked in, as at least 10 campers on the site find themselves in the same boat PER MONTH!!! If this is the case, there should be warnings all over the place, and as he said, should have been briefed about it as soon as we got checked in!!

From the manager: Gentile Ospite, ci dispiace sinceramente per quanto accaduto alla vostra auto. Comprendiamo che trovare il veicolo danneggiato al rientro da una giornata a Roma, soprattutto in presenza di bambini, sia stata un'esperienza spiacevole e fonte di preoccupazione. Per quanto riguarda il collegamento con la stazione, desideriamo però precisare che la nostra navetta è un servizio gratuito messo a disposizione dei nostri ospiti. Al momento del check-in, insieme alle informazioni relative al soggiorno, viene consegnato un foglio con gli orari delle partenze della navetta e il personale della reception è a disposizione per spiegare come utilizzarla. Ci dispiace quindi che questa informazione non sia stata percepita o ricordata durante il vostro arrivo. Per quanto riguarda invece il parcheggio presso la stazione, si tratta di un'area pubblica esterna alla nostra struttura e sulla quale non abbiamo alcun controllo. L'episodio da voi descritto è certamente spiacevole, ma non può essere ricondotto alla gestione del campeggio. Comprendiamo tuttavia il vostro suggerimento e riteniamo sempre utile invitare gli ospiti a prestare attenzione quando lasciano il proprio veicolo in aree pubbliche. Prendiamo atto anche di quanto riferito sull'assistenza ricevuta dopo il danneggiamento del veicolo. Non possiamo naturalmente verificare a distanza ogni dettaglio dell'episodio, ma ci dispiace che abbiate avuto la sensazione di non essere stati sufficientemente supportati in quel momento. Ci fa comunque piacere sapere che abbiate apprezzato la posizione, le piazzole, la pulizia dei servizi, il ristorante e la cordialità del nostro personale. Per la piscina, l'intervento di manutenzione era necessario e la sua durata è stata mantenuta per il tempo indispensabile. Sappiamo che la chiusura durante il soggiorno può essere stata poco fortunata. L'utilizzo della cuffia, invece, è una regola dell'impianto legata a precise esigenze di igiene e sicurezza. Speriamo che, al di là dello spiacevole episodio avvenuto all'esterno della struttura, possiate conservare anche alcuni ricordi positivi del vostro soggiorno all'Happy Village & Camping.
