Bridport, Dorset, England
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Site is at a beautiful location, remote and quiet. Pitches were well spaced and the additional firepit was great for the evenings. Appreciated the "no music" and "no noise past 11pm" rules as we were able to enjoy the sounds of nature all around us. Slept like babies each and every night of our stay. Gas showers were also fantastic, very powerful and hot (appreciated Mew's quick response when showers went cold).
Disliked Only niggle was the lack of clarity regarding the opening months/times for the coffee hut.

Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Howard, the host, was a warm and welcoming presence from the off. Helped us to transport our belongings to the pitch of our choice via Land Rover, and even ended up providing us with a backup camping stove when ours ran into difficulties!
Service felt bespoke and that nothing was too much to ask. Loved the little cafe area with barrista coffee and Howard's homemade scrumpy was an additional delight. We also made use of a firepit on our last night which added to the beautiful atmostphere and surroundings.
Very much look forward to staying here again.

From the manager: Hey Gareth! What a lovely review - many thanks! It was great to meet you both and pleased to hear you liked the cider!!! Thanks so very much for the pictures - they are great and really help us truly show what our place is like. I hope to see you both down here again sometime. Howard
