Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Location, the views were stunning and absolutely beautiful walks from the camp. The owner was friendly and helpful and the facilities were well managed and kept clean. They even provided bottled water.
Disliked The flies haha! But that's part of the experience

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The setting. The small site has both open and grass and woodland options for pitches. Both were stunning.
The hosts. Very friendly hosts who couldn't do enough for you. Very welcoming and helpful, but also left you to it once you were settled
They also brought a big box of outdoor toys for my 4 year old so he was kept occupied the whole time and gave us a variety of outdoor games to play.
Hosts also have 2 adorable dogs

Small clearings primitive forest floor tent campsite (woodland)
Liked Everything. The campsite was beautiful, a proper woodland. And the owner was extremely eco-minded which I absolutely loved. Recycling facilities, campfires and wood were provided (at a very fair additional cost). The site is slightly more expensive than most, but considering there's room for a lot more pitches, the owner clearly values preserving the wildlife and rewilding the woodland more than he does profit, so the money is more than worth it! The toilet facilities are beautiful, fitting and kept very clean and tidy. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you again for the very best weekend in a long time!
Disliked Nothing. Everything was amazing

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland)
Liked Everything. The site is an easy to get to small woodland area with easy parking just outside the gate in the lay by. Owners greeted us immediately and were friendly, welcoming and funny. The site is pretty relaxed and for a 5 tent pitch there was plenty of spaces to choose from. There were also plenty of chickens wandering around enquisitively which was good entertainment. The site is close to a woodland walk on a permitted footpath and a 5 minute walk from the beach. We were able to rent a firepit and buy wood and fire lighters for an extra £6! There were hand made souvenirs for sale with an honesty box which we bought 2 of.
Disliked The toilet is an eco toilet which requires sawdust after use but really isn't that bad
