The grounds and castle are beautiful and very peaceful
Staff are welcoming and polite
It has good size pitches with easy hook up for electric
The women's showers are spacious and easy to use however a shower curtain would be nice as the water reaches the seat part where you place clothes . The men's showers were adequate
Toilets and showers were clean at all times and stocked with toilet paper. Needed some more hand-wash and hand towels though but it had a hand dryer just towels would be good for those with sensory issues.
One note would be to maybe add a baby change in the mens toilets or make the disabled toilets more accessible by asking if a key was needed at the start of the trip during check in.
Dish washing area was clean and spacious, which was great and had no restrictions on times so made washing up easy ,as there was no time limit on when we could do it
The dryer was an absolute life saver with the wet weather
I would maybe add a machine to get change from or a cash point as not alot of people carry cash anymore and the dryer , washer and most things are coin operated. Or maybe add a contact less payment to the machines ?
The grounds were well lit and and tidy.
The restaurant served great food that was fresh and served by absolutely lovely staff , and the music on the Saturday was great! We didn't even need to leave our tent to enjoy the music

The park is great for the children to play on, could do with a little bit if an upgrade but the kids loved it

That the dryer and washer are coin-operated ( most don't carry cash anymore)

Well maintained relaxed site. Beautiful woodland walks in mature woodland.
Pre-paid electricity top-up cards are a great idea - you only pay for what you use.
Very pleasant reception staff.

Nice grounds, great walks nearby, friendly and helpful staff. Good takeaway pizzas. The staff were quick to help out when we had problems with the electricity cards.

The ladies showers were very good; clean, spacious and up to date. My husband said the gents facilities weren't of the same standard. There is only one shower block for a VERY large site - and it was a long way from most pitches - although toilet blocks are sited nearer. We were initially allocated a very steeply sloping pitch (still not level despite using our chocks) but the staff kindly moved us when we asked.

The site was picturesque and spacious, good solid pitches and access to site was good. A nice bar and good quality, staff were extremely friendly.

Not disliked - just observations that can be improved upon.
Signage is not brilliant, electricity credit at pitch not obvious when booking, toilets and showers a little tired.

Out of hours packs left for those arriving late.
Clean facilities and plenty of space to shower and dress.
Used bar at night. All staff very friendly.

We only used £2 of electric for one night, which was great idea of an electric top up card.

We went in quiet period, large site which i can imagine gets full.

The park was clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpfull. We had an enjoyable stay among the trees and plenty of birds life.good for walking among nature. Definitely worth a visit

The showers were, compared to other sites we are reviewing, tired and need updating

Site is lovely, unfortunately due to the weather we could not explore very far.
